Nice private cabin close to great beaches
We had a nice stay. Nice and private place in a nice quiet neighborhood. The cabin came stocked with all the amenities one would need.

Fantastic place!
We so enjoyed staying here, it was my husband and I with our 24 year old daughter and her boyfriend. Let me just say, none of us were too old to enjoy the pool and the water slide! It was so fun to have a pool that we could play beach ball volleyball in and just lay back on a floaty and listen to the millions of birds! The gazebo out by the pool was a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset in the evening. There are so many great beaches so close by and the town of Kehei is full of restaurants and food trucks. We loved having our own grill, we ate on the lanai most nights. It was nice to have laundry facilities so we could pack less. The house was clean as could be, well stocked, and just right for 4 of us. Elaine and Alfie were very pleasant but certainly not looming about. I would definitely like to stay here again!

Wonderful!!
Everything here is great!! The outdoor area is perfect for sun and shade. A great place to be before or after the beach. All amenities included and having a washer/dryer is the best! The reclining sofa is perfect for relaxing after a day out and about.

Easy in Maui
Great guest house. Easy to access everything on the island and outdoor space was great. Host can “theoretically” use the pool and that being said we never saw them.

Felt like home

A beautiful cottage with an amazing pool.
The cottage had really comfy beds in both rooms. We loved the extra bed in the second bedroom for a reading area. The lanai was spacious and surrounded by beautiful flowering plants and lots of geckos hiding around. The pool was amazing. We both loved to float and my daughter loved to dive for the rings and squid toys. We would definitely return to this rental and recommend it to anyone with kids.

Fantastic first trip to Maui
We loved our stay at Elaine's property. The house was perfect for our four person family and was ideally situated on the island. We enjoyed having a home base for meals, naps, and of course the gorgeous pool. The home was equipped with everything we needed for beach trips as well. We would definitely stay here again, and hope to return to Maui soon!

Lovely, we will be back! Hopefully sooner than later!
This is a place I don’t want to review because I want to be selfish and not let the word get out. Obviously it’s not beach front if that’s what you’re looking for but for our family everything about this place was perfect. I hate when you arrive at a rental and it’s been completely wiped of anything you’ll need, not the case here. Really felt like staying at someone’s guest house because that’s what it is however the property is very well situated where the owners house could just be a neighbor. We were in Maui for a wedding at the Grand Wailea and opted to get our own place instead of staying at the resort and we all agreed it was a great decision to avoid the busy resort. Still only a couple minutes to the Wailea path and beach and we went down most mornings for a daily walk and it was super easy.

Perfection for a family of four
Stayed here for 10 nights. Perfect location. Close to beaches and restaurants and only 25 mins from airport. Clean and communion with owner fantastic. Used the lawn chairs and boogie board and cooler provided. Spend am at the beach and returned to this beautiful retreat to spend time at the pool. Having your own pool and grill to cook is so wonderful. Would highly recommend for sure.

Wonderful pool
Our family enjoyed a wonderful 9 day stay at Elaine and Alfie’s cottage. We were very comfortable and fell in love with many aspects of this beautiful property. During our stay we found the cottage well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The salt water pool and slide were fabulous and we loved the privacy of having it to ourselves. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great little cottage
This is an excellent property. I'd have preferred the pool to open earlier than 9 am and the slide to be available later than 5 pm. However, overall - this is a great property to rent.

We hope to have you again ..We have to try different pool hours, unfortunately, any earlier than 9 am guests were out there with kids screaming at 7 and 8 in the morning. our neighbors were complaining. As for the slide, well 8 hrs of running a pump in Hawaii is a lot of electricity and very expensive, sorry really can't do more than 8 hrs . Aloha

Wonderful Cottage
Elaine’s cottage was a perfect home base for our family during our week in Maui! We loved coming back after a long day of exploring to relax in the pool while we warmed up dinner in the kitchen. The cottage is perfectly stocked with all towels, beach gear, kitchen utensils, dishes, etc.

We would stay here again
We had a great time. The master bed was softer than we prefer, but we slept well. This 2 bedroom 1-bathroom house would work well for a family. There were only two of us. There is peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the pool deck. It takes very little time to drive to Wailea beaches and restaurants. Our Google Pixel Android phone was unable to open pdf files that the host (Elaine) loaded into VRBO, so we recommend printing them in advance and having the print-out readily available before you first arrive.

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 10 year old and 12 year old). The outdoor space is as pictured online and is simply amazing. Our kids enjoyed the pool multiple times a day and was a highlight of our trip. The cottage is well equipped, we especially enjoyed grilling and eating at the outdoor table, having access to a washer/dryer (we were able to pack less this way), and having AC when returning from the beach. The cottage is a short drive to the best beaches - we loved Ulua Beach and Keawakapu Beach, as well as some great eateries (The Market in Wailea and Kinaole Grill Food Truck we’re our faves). Elaine & Alfie are extremely friendly, kind and easy to work with which made our stay even more perfect. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely amazing!!
My husband & I stayed at this charming cottage for a week and enjoyed everything about it. Especially the pool and outdoor area! It was perfect for just the two of us and in a great area with tons of things to nearby. Elaine was very helpful and quick respond to my questions before & during our trip. She had some great recommendations on things to do in the area and restaurants. We are hoping to make it back to Maui one day and this will definitely be the place we stay at. Thank you Elaine!!

This was one of the best places I have rented from VRBO. Elaine was so warm and welcoming. The property was even better than the pictures. The pool was so fun. I have stayed in many places before. Great 2br House
My wife, daughter and I stayed here 3 weeks. It is a beautiful property with a pool/slide in the back. My son and his wife stayed elsewhere in Kihei but came with their children to enjoy the pool. It was tough to get the children out of the pool! Enjoyed our stay immensely!

This house worked perfectly for our family of 5. With a full kitchen, we were able to buy groceries and cook meals for ourselves all week. The pool was a nice way for the kids to end their days without going inside to get on electronics. It was also a nice place to visit and have dinner at night. The location is a few minute drive from the beaches in a nice residential area. The outside shower was perfect to rinse off after the beach before going inside. We really appreciated all of the beach accessories - cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. Elaine and Alfie were great hosts. Really enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

Perfect stay in Maui
This cottage could not have been more perfect. It is not only central and easy access to the Kihei-Wailea but also to the island in general. It was the perfect home base. The cottage is completely updated and has everything you could need. I even saw a pack-n-play in the closet. The owner had great communication, and we rented snorkel equipment from her awesome daughter at their snorkel shop. When I come back to Maui I will be looking to see if this cottage is available first! We had an amazing trip and this cottage was perfect.

GREAT stay in Maui!
This cottage was amazing! My two teen daughters and I loved it. It was so comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we could want. The back yard, waterfall, slide and pool were the icing on the cake...so fun and wonderful. The location of the cottage is very close to the Wilea resort and many great restaurants in Wilea and Kehei. Highly recommend!!!

Best decision!
My fiancé and I were traveling to Maui with our 1 year old to get married. We wanted something special but my real priority was a comfortable environment for my son. I wanted him to be able to run and play without me having to hunt down a park or pack up for the beach twice a day. This property has a great grassy yard and my baby loves swim class so the pool was a huge bonus. The only other properties I found with private pools were huge houses that I didn't have the budget for and didn't have guests to fill the rooms. This little cottage is perfect for a small family. The shower was hot and had strong water pressure, somehow it was my favorite place. The living area is cozy and the kitchen has the necessities but we honestly had fun eating out and hitting the food trucks. The location was so close to our wedding beach and central to great restaurants. I would wholeheartedly recommend this rental! Finally, Elaine and Artie are personable and easy to communicate with.

This house has everything one could need to enjoy your stay on Maui. In the peaceful neighborhood of Maui Meadows, you are just a short ride to beaches, restaurants, stores, watersports and some of the best scenery in Maui. Returning after a long day of exploring, the pool was so refreshing. Don't miss the opportunity to cookout on the beautiful 6-burner gas grill! With stores like Costco and Whole Foods on the island theres no shortage of good food available for those nights when you just want to stay home and cook in. This is our second time using this property so that in itself should say something. Great place, great job Elaine & Alfie!

Perfect getaway with a 2 yr old

Peaceful getaway in central location

Elaine’s cottage had everything we needed to feel comfortable for our trip with 2 boys, myself and husband. Details we loved: -The outdoor shower since we visited many beaches it was nice to rinse off before coming indoors. -The washer and dryer. -Beach equipment -Beautiful pool and available pool toys. -Beautiful landscaping with amazing tropical plants. Wonderful Cottage
Elaine & Alfie’s cottage was the perfect place to rest after a day of sightseeing. We enjoyed being able to rinse off in the outdoor shower after king beach days. The pool is nothing short of spectacular! The private neighborhood was quite but not too far from town. The closest beaches were exquisite! The cottage had chairs, an umbrella, & a cooler which came in handy. I cannot say enough about this property. It’s definitely a special place!

Beautiful home.
Not the fault of property owners but of vrbo administration. My credit card was compromised for final payment so payment was stopped. I received no information from vrbo regarding the stop payment and could not get through for payment with new credit card. Even called vrbo and the customer service agent admitted that it was an IT glitch. Ended up paying cash but it was very stressful. Everything else was perfect.

Great house!
We absolutely loved our time here. Easy booking, check-in, and great communication from Elaine. The private pool quickly become a favorite spot for all 4 of us. Lots of pool toys, chairs to relax in and shade when you need a break. Short drive to the beach and restaurants. The owners provided all sorts of beach toys, boogie boards and beach towels. An outside shower made cleaning sand off super easy too. The kitchen has all the appliances and dishes we needed including a blender. We loved our stay and can't wait to visit Maui again.
