Close to beautiful beaches and good snorkeling. But not as expensive as the beachfront resorts. Lovely home in peaceful garden setting. We love to Walk to beach front paved trail every morning for exercise. Highly recommend a morning Paddle board and kayak rentals at Polo beach, got to swim with a passing pod of spinner dolphins. Saw turtles, an octopus and a curious reef shark were amazing! The condo was perfect for us. Spacious layout with private bedroom off the main living area. Kitchen was stocked with basic utensils, no food, oil or seasonings other than salt/ pepper. Which is understandable - just plan for that If you’re planning to cook . Would definitely stay again!!! Reviewer Comments: The pros: the property is clean, the king size bed is comfortable, there are two bathrooms, the community is fairly quiet and the other guests and residents were pleasant, the management company was relatively quick to respond to issues, the unit is within walking distance of Wailea shops and dining.The cons: the property is in dire need of an update, the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms are so old that most hang open, the bathrooms have dingey tile, the decor is uninspired, the TV is ridiculously complicated to figure out and you have to reset it each time you want to watch, the cabinet floor under the kitchen sink is rotted out, we experienced ants around all sinks, the email we received with door codes and wifi had enough incorrect information to make it annoying (thus our first call to the management company), the tennis club directly behind the unit allows pickleball to be played rather late on certain nights (i.e., it's noisy), if you're on the deck and the AC is running, it's so loud and hot you can't enjoy being out there. ##### Catherine D. ### 8/10 Good #### Neil A. If you are after a freshly renovated unit with high end touches, this one is not for you. However, if you just like us love privacy and quiet place - book this one.
