The condo, the property and getting about was simply just prefect. We will be back The Palms at Wailea The Palms at Wailea is a secure resort community of 150 units on 16.7 acres, with 23 two-story buildings. The ground- and second-floor apartments each have individual lanais and entries. Built in a Mediterranean style, each apartment has an individual entry and is separated from the others by variations in height and angle. The grounds provide many apartments with a view of the Pacific, while the remaining apartments have garden areas with an abundance of palms. The spacious two- and three-story units have full kitchens, individual washer and dryers, and free cable TV. Property amenities include barbecue and recreation areas, a swimming pool, a hot tub and a clubhouse. 5 Star review: Very clean and fully stocked with amenities. The property has a wonderful view almost with very close and convenient parking. Highly recommend. NOTE: The wonderful remodel in kitchen and both bath rooms. A wonderful update to an already remodeled condo. Large walk in glass enclosed shower in master bedroom. New granite replacing all current granite and new vanities. New decor and design. . The amazing lanai is so large with BBQ Grill seating for six, and additional sunning area. Lanai overlooks gardens and green space with lovely sunsets over the ocean. Knobs on oven range have numbers rubbed off so hard to tell heat setting. Water filter in fridge needed to be replaced. Just minor things though. Location was great! Beds were comfy. The property (while slightly aged) is clean and well-kept with a nice Lanai for eating and relaxing and is conveniently located in the heart of Wailea close to Kihei downtown with easy access to multiple beaches (our favorites were Keawakapu and Big Beach). This condo is situated inside a beautiful community and has a nice heated pool/hot tub which our family enjoyed every single day. The condo was well-stocked and we appreciated having access to beach chairs, beach umbrellas, towels and even sand toys for our kid to play with. It was a comfortable home base for our family vacation. The unit was clean and we appreciated the walled off second bedroom. Sitting on the patio in the morning was great, lots of fun birds to watch. AC was strong and nice. Had to rent a lot of equipment because most stuff in the unit was broken, which we were warned could be the case beforehand. Owner communicated lots of great info prior to our arrival, but once we checked in we couldn't reach anyone at all. The fridge wasn't getting cold even after 24+ hours on max, so we were worried about food spoilage and wondered if it would ever get cold (it did, after quite some time) but no response from multiple attempts to connect w/ the owner to discuss the issue. Overall we enjoyed it and would visit again, but I would like to try a downstairs unit for the larger patio and bedroom access. ##### Chelsea R. We stayed at the end of July, and it was hot during the day, but the condo has air conditioning in each room, which keeps it cool and comfortable.The kitchen has everything you need, even a thermometer for grilling meat.
