All i can say is WOW! A fantastic resort with all the amenities and more! The staff are amazing! And supported my needs with my dog during and after i broke my wrist. The room was top notch clean as well as the lobby and communal areas. The outdoor area is warm, inviting with an abundance of seating and fire pits. I look forward to future stays at Kindred!
We returned to kindred 3 weeks after our first one night stay, wanting to explore more of the amenities since our first stay was brief, but wonderful. They didn’t disappoint. The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful - they even remembered us from our previous stay. The lobby is the most well thought out and utilized lobby I’ve seen. We had a snag the first morning of our stay, waking up to the room 80 degrees- when we determined it wasn’t user error we went to the front desk, told them the issue, maintenance was troubleshooting in our room (they had asked our permission) before we got back to it, and promptly moved our room when it was determined the issue was going to take some time. The outdoor space including the pool and hot tub is wonderful to relax and take in the view, even with the construction down the way for the heated walkway. We ate breakfast at Lula’s all but one day of our stay, delicious. We got drinks at The Goodz Tavern, the old fashioned is amazing- and delicious sushi at Kinji Sushi- reservations recommended. Otherwise, we spent our days exploring the river run village and had plenty of options - all were delicious. We spent quite a bit of time at Kindred spirit, the bar within the lobby- our drinks were delicious and the bar staff is amazing.
We look forward to our next stay, hoping to get up there during the winter season, it was extremely hard to leave- but knowing we will be back, hopefully with more family in tow, softened the blow.
Beautifully designed hotel with excellent gym, pool facilities lobby and courtyard. We really enjoyed the proximity to the lift for mountain biking and strolling the village. Rooms are stylishly designed with a generous amount of space. We look forward to returning again soon!
Excellent one night stay. Beautiful room with a great view and the staff was nice. We were in and out quick. The weather was cool so we tried to sleep with the window on the patio open, but the air conditioner kept going on and off, and we tried to turn it off without success, so it was loud and kept us from sleeping great. turns out sleep is overrated and we still had a great time.
Beautiful, brand new rustic modern all the way through. Had some hot tub problems but maybe they're working out the kinks a little. Be careful about parking on your own at River Run overnight which we were told we could do- got a ticket but were able to contest it online as first time offenders. Apparently there is an overnight parking area in that giant Keystone parking lot. We will stay again for sure!

We were excited to give this resort a try, but it's probably not a place we'll return to.
The property itself is beautiful, modern, and definitely feels like a luxury resort you'd expect to find in Vail or Aspen. The rooms were very nice, the onsite restaurants were good, and the live music on Saturday night was a great touch.
That said, there were a few disappointments. Both hot tubs were out of service for all three days of our stay. The pool is quite small, and during our visit it was packed with wedding guests using large tubes, making it difficult for other guests to enjoy. We also couldn't justify paying $79 per night for valet parking, so we parked in the public lot and walked instead.
For us, though, the biggest drawback wasn't any one amenity, it was that the resort felt out of place in River Run. It brings a level of luxury that's more in line with Vail or Aspen, but it doesn't quite deliver the same overall experience those destinations are known for. At the same time, it changes the relaxed, laid-back mountain atmosphere that has always made Keystone and River Run appealing to our family.
It's undoubtedly a beautiful hotel, but we personally prefer the more affordable condos and lodging options in River Run, which better capture the authentic Keystone vibe we've enjoyed over the years
