*** Located in the Old Town neighborhood. This exclusive residential area of Old Town Key West is really an extension of the Old Town Historic Seaport District. Close to many local favorite restaurants, art galleries, bakeries, and shops. From our location, you can walk to Higgs Beach in minutes and walk to Duval Street which is about 7 blocks away.

This 1200 sq. ft. townhouse with 2BR/ 2BA home has street parking for your car. Sleeps 6 (one bedroom has 2 queen beds). Both bedrooms have balcony's for overlooking the property. HD TV's in living room/ bedrooms/outdoor by pool, plus high-speed internet ready for Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime. Fully equipped kitchen. Luxury furnishings and appliances make this property your perfect retreat. Washer/ dryer is available in the home. Large wrap around deck that is privately fenced in, makes for a great area for your entertaining/outdoor dining needs. Close to dozens of fine restaurants, shopping and numerous galleries. Area beaches are within easy walking distance or a quick bike ride. You are a close 10 min ride via taxi from the airport.

Escape from winter’s wrath

Our stay couldn’t have been better except perhaps for the short-term rehab project next door. Brenda welcomed us shortly after we arrived and was readily available to answer questions. We were so comfortable and “at home”.

A nice house. A good host.

Brenda was a very good host, responsive and accommodating. The house is lovely with beautiful furniture and furnishings. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was disappointing that the pool heater was not working. An important thing to know is there is no cable TV. The host provides a guest subscription for Netflix, which is very nice. But if you want to watch anything else, bring your Roku stick or all of your streaming credentials. There is no live TV. The house is in a good location if you ride bikes or have a golf cart. If you're walking, you may find most things a bit far, especially if it's hot out.

Otis Oasis

Great location, beautiful home. When we arrived I noticed there was no coffee maker (having brought 2lbs of Starbucks) contacted Brenda and she ordered one. We used the bikes every day, being conveniently located near Higgs Beach. Used the pool 3 times, would have enjoyed the beautiful pool more had it been heated. There was construction next door near the deck, Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm. We would come back, Brenda was a great host.

The home is beautiful and the location is perfect. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had when we first arrived. The beds are comfortable and the outdoor living is stunning. The only downfall is the unheated pool so evening dips were not in the cards. They have everything you need to prepare meals including a grill and air fryer. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Love Key West

We really enjoyed our stay in Key West for the month of February. The house itself is two stories. The entrance is located off Watson Street. Upon entering from the street, there is a bricked courtyard entry area where the garbage cans and owners’ bikes are stored. After passing through another gate, the beautiful patio is accessed. The pool was very nice. Unfortunately, the pool heater was not working during our stay. This was no fault of the owners. They have been waiting for the heater part for 4 months. The door into the house is off the patio. As you enter the house, the main room on the first floor has the dining area, living area, kitchen, and the main level bathroom. The house is beautifully furnished, the kitchen is well supplied, and the appliances work well. The bathroom on the main level has a shower, toilet, and vanity. Both bedrooms are on the second level. The master bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, closet, and access to the patio overlooking the pool. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds. It is a little crowded with the two beds, but it is nice having the ability to sleep 4 people in that bedroom. This bedroom also has a dresser, closet, and access to the same patio as the master bedroom. The one bathroom on the second level is in the hallway. It does not directly attach to the master bedroom but allows access by both bedroom via the hallway. This bathroom also has a shower, toilet, and vanity. The washer and dryer are behind a door in this bathroom. The house is well equipped with towels and supplies. There are also beach towels and beach chairs for your use. The TV in the living area worked well. No cable but it is a smart TV with access to Netflix/Hulu/Amazon prime. We were able to use our own fire stick to access our streaming subscriptions. Both bedrooms also have TV’s. This was a working vacation for my husband, so he set up his work area in the living room with a view of the pool. The internet was good and adequate for our use. The place does not have a garage, but parking is available on the street in front of the entrance. We enjoyed having the place within walking distance of Duval, the waterfront area, and Higgs Beach area. There was even a small grocery store a short walk away. We had a few questions when we first arrived that were answered promptly. The owners were very nice to work with and genuinely wanted us to have a great time at their house.

Truly an Oasis

Our month at Otis’ Oasis was fantastic! When we arrived we were delighted to find that the home was even better than the beautiful pictures you see here. We owned in Key West for years but this was our first rental there and we were a little apprehensive about whether we would feel ‘at home’ in a new space. Our fears were unfounded, as it was very inviting and we had everything we needed to make our visit fun and relaxing. We even stayed in more than planned and cooked many a meal in the well-appointed kitchen. The great room area is very large by Key West standards and there was plenty of room to spread out and relax or watch TV. Both bedrooms are beautifully outfitted and I really appreciated the quality bedding! Both bathrooms were very clean, modern and had everything you could expect. The outdoor space is wonderful, truly an Oasis. The pool is larger and deeper than it looks with great seat ledges on two sides. And we really enjoyed the outdoor dining. There was almost always a nice breeze and even though it’s very private it is large enough to feel open and airy. A very nice feature was the Sonos sound system so we could enjoy music throughout the house and even by the pool. A tablet was provided but I just downloaded the Sonos app on my phone and listened to our own playlists. Perfect. If you’re not familiar with Key West, this location is hard to beat. We’re walkers so it was no big deal to walk to anything on the island. But, it’s out of the way enough that you don’t feel like you’re inundated with the hustle and bustle of Duval Street. We drove but only moved the car when we had to go up the keys one day, so if you’re flying I would recommend skipping the car and renting bikes if you don’t want to walk. Brenda is the best host and great to work with. She answered all my questions quickly and bent over backwards to make certain our stay was better than anticipated – and she succeeded! We cannot wait for our next visit to Otis’ Oasis!
