Discover small-town charm at the Walldogs murals downtown and the annual Hog Days festival celebrating Kewanee's agricultural heritage. History buffs can explore the Kewanee Historical Society Museum while families enjoy Ryan's Round Barn in nearby Johnson Sauk Trail State Park.
Great breakfast/bar staff.
The check-in system was down when I checked in, so I was unable to access my room for nearly half an hour.
I found room cleaning to be done every other day, which left me in a bit of a pickle when the shower dispenser ran out on an off day, but I was able to get a bar of soap from Reception to tide me over.

This is a lovely hotel. Nicely designed, super comfy beds, clean and comfortable rooms.
The location is in a quiet area, just not convenient for access to shopping. They do have a full restaurant on site and food is really tasty.

Stayed here for an evening on business and was utterly impressed with the beauty and upkeep of this hotel. I've stayed at many brand-name executive hotels and I must say I was not expecting Blackhawk to be in that league, but it blew me away.
Very friendly staff, beautiful building and room, the pool is beautiful and relaxing.
I'd rate this higher than 5 if I could...
