    Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

    Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot. . Terrace (shared with other apartments on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are drops at the front of the property care to be taken with young children.. Skiddaw, one of 3 holiday apartments, is a ground floor apartment that comprises a living/dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a parking space immediately opposite. Situated just off the main thoroughfare, opposite the world renowned ‘George Fishers’ climbing shop, with all amenities to hand. A 10 minute stroll along Lake Road and through the beautifully manicured gardens of Hope Park lead down to Derwentwater, with regular launch trips around the lake and numerous dropping off points. There is parking nearby and once parked up, your car need never leave its space.

    The fells are accessible from the door and in the evenings the nearest bars and restaurants are within 75 yards. The apartments are accessed via several steps and are spacious, very comfortably furnished, well equipped and have the benefit of Wi-Fi and a shared terrace. Beach 25 miles. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

    Skiddaw can be booked together with Blencathra (UK1084) and Catbells (UK1085) to accommodate up to 8 guests.

Property in a good position. Well equipped kitchen and the living room is a good size.. Bedding clean but stained. Had to request extra cleaning.Towels well worn. Difficulties accessing property initially and accessing host in a timely manner.

Beautiful apartment. Only criticism was that windows in double room can't be opened and the quilts were too warm. Would advise thinner duvets. Or maybe we prefer fresh air!

Apartment was OK without being wonderful. Good location and parking, decent space inside. Adequatley furnished and equipped though not specially new or modern. One or two daft things like a bed blocking the wardrobe door, and bedside lights with nowhere to plug in (maybe someone had pinched the extension lead), but no serious problems.
