With all the excellent amenities Keswick has to offer literally on the doorstep, private parking space, and walks from the door, 5 Balmoral House is an excellent base for your walking holiday in northern Lakeland. Derwentwater and the Theatre by the Lake are within a five-minute walk, via Hope Park, with ornamental gardens, mini golf and crazy golf. Free WiFi Derwentwater 400 yards away. The gaps between the railings on the external steps are more than 10cms. Great apartment right in the centre of Keswick. For the not so nimble the climb up the external stairs to the front door is a bit of a challenge, especially in the dark, but the apartment itself was welcoming and it wasn't long before it felt like home. It's equipped with everything you'll need and was very clean. Good walks from the town centre and probably even better during the summer when the nearby Keswick Launch would provide alternative start points to some quality rambles. Great to have a dedicated parking spot, although we didn't use our car whilst we were there, but in summer this would be a huge benefit. An excellent, well fitted out apartment with plenty of room for two. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and the large selection of DVDs to go with the Freesat TV was an unexpected bonus. It is very well situated in the centre of Keswick with many pubs, cafes and restaurants all within a few hundred yards. The private parking space was very useful.
