Sep 10, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location We booked a last minute trip to Kennebunk with our 3young children. The location was great for walking to some local shops and restaurants. The biggest issue we had was that there is a door in the unit connecting it to the upstairs unit which is also rented out. The latch to lock off the door is on the other side, so somehow the other renters unlocked it and my 2 year old opened the door. We quickly closed it and realized we had no way of locking our unit from the other guests. It is centrally located and close to Ogonquit, and Kennebunkport. Kittery is right down the road and Freeport and Portland are Less than an hour drive!! Overall location was great for Kennebunk area relatives and still ner enough to Portland cruise and the annual to trek to LLBean (even under a HUGE tent while they rebuild).
