"We stayed to attend a wedding, and also as a belated anniversary/kid free weekend away. It was a gorgeous little cabin, and we especially loved having the fire going and sitting in the bath watching the night sky through the windows. We got to pat the horses that back on to the property, and enjoyed the birdlife also. 10/10 recommend."

"Alan and Aryna were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. A lovely warm greeting on arrival, a tour of our cabin and all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. "Of all the places I stayed in NZ and Australia this was my favourite and I just wish we could have stayed longer. It is top of my list of places to come back and stay again. I absolutely loved it. The grounds are spectacular. The serenity was very welcome after some busy days. Loved the lake at sunset and sunrise. Great to be close to Noosa and Coolum but away from the hustle and whole “scene” but close enough to go in for beach time, dinner or hiking. This place was perfection!! "

"This was an amazing stay. The cottage suited us perfectly for a quiet time to relax and invigorate. The owner has seen to everything in detail, the extra touches are so thoughtful. The location was perfect for us, with quiet and privacy in a magnificent garden, yet not isolated as the main strip of Montville is merely a 5-minute drive away. With a grocery store, eateries and restaurants. We will definitely go back there! 5 star plus!!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is so very beautiful. My only note to the hosts would be to be a little clearer to guests that the kitchen doesn't have an oven, just the cooktop. (It was clear there was no microwave, but we were a little surprised there was no oven either). But we had a good adventure using the wood-fired pizza oven instead. Other than that tiny suggestion, we had a very lovely time."

I was a bit taken aback on check in as it was not evident when booking that the cottage is actually a separate dwelling inside the bounds of the owner’s house. "From the moment we arrived we were impressed! Noel greeted us and showed us around the property and we felt instantly welcomed and relaxed. There has been a lot of attention to detail including home made food in the fridge and pantry and the fluffiest robes ever. "Upon arrival, the cottage was presented as per the photos. The beds are super comfy, the cottage was very clean with lots of books and games to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the property is located on a main street and the front bedroom can be a bit noisy. This may not be an issue if you are staying during the weekend, however, during the week the traffic noise can be disruptive to sleep. Recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper."

"Unit was very good. Perfectly clean and as described. Wifi details in folder did not match - modem had clearly been updated. Pool and complex facilities well maintained. Check in instructions pretty poor. Much more detail could be given to make the process easier, particularly around accessing gated areas, parking and locating the unit. "
