"We had a dreamy stay at Pu'u O Hoku Ranch! We really enjoyed slowing down and enjoying each other's company in a beautiful setting. Coming from the hustle and bustle of Oahu, it was exactly what we were looking for. We spent countless hours hanging out by the lodge pool and soaking up the old Hawai'i vibe. "The room is outdated, our room had a small ant like bug infestation, they came and sprayed and made us stay out of the room for a few hours and the chemical smell remained all day and night. The snorkeling was amazing as well as the beach. Most of the staff was polite and helpful but there was one individual at the front desk that was always rude or at least came off that way. Dealt with this same individual 3 different times and was not a pleasant experience. Overall the property was nice but don’t think I would stay here again if I visit Maui in the future."

"Beautiful pools with plentiful loungers. Adult only pool was nice to have! Steps from a large beach. Waterfalls and garden throughout the property. Ocean view room was well worth the extra. Restaurants were good but pricey and not the best value. Wonderful market/cafe though with nice selection. Best location next door to Wharf Village with lots of shops, restaurants and ice cream shops."

"Clean room. No lobby bar - that is a fail for us. Our room safe was locked the whole trip by somebody else and could not be cleared by maintenance. The mattress was sunken and in need of replacement. It felt like the place has been overrun. The staff are friendly at check in and check out. The valet parking out front is a gong show too!"

"This was a catfish in hotel form. The ocean view was able to see a very small amount over the whole grounds. I would have called it a garden view which I specifically paid more to have ocean view. The beach that pictured is several hotels down the way and not at this location. The shower curtain was moldy. The kitchen was the one thing that was as pictured. Overall it wasn’t the worst but I would have gladly paid more money somewhere else to get the experience that is advertised."

"Having a two bedroom, two bathroom, kitchen, and laundry all in your room with a family of five was amazing! Not sure how we will ever be able to stay in a normal hotel room again! The pool was perfect and where we spent most of our time. Staff were very nice and the property was kept clean. The price was very reasonable if not on the cheaper side for Hawaii. There was a food truck park literally right next door which was nice to try several of the local different foods. The only downside was the beach sand area was very small, we went to a beach at a different hotel which was way nicer. It’s almost likely they built up to the beach too close. Also apparently they have free DVD kiosks you can rent from but no one ever told us at check in. Overall it was a 9/10 stay!"
