Overall 8/10 I was only having problem during time off sleep as the kitchen is right above Room even though it’s on the 3rd floor and I was at the 1st floor the movement noise from the kitchen was loud and annoying. Otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay, just avoid room 103 & 203 if you want to have a peaceful sleep
Everything was perfect. Amazing place, cozy and relaxing with an excellent restaurant. The rooms that we got through Expedia where not what we thought but the staff at the hotel was kind enough to let us upgrade charging us with a little difference.
We chose to book this hotel for its location in front of Boudhanath Stupa and we found that it offered so much more. It is a small hotel, spotlessly clean throughout and with staff who are unfailingly helpful. One of its huge assets is the rooftop dining room/restaurant where breakfast is served each morning - and what a breakfast it is. Everything is freshly prepared and beautifully served. It is the perfect place to start the day.
Firstly, you cannot beat this location if you want to see the budda stupa! The rooftop terrace is an oasis of calm and watching the temple visitors from the rooftop is fascinating. You should be aware that you have to pay 400 rupees to enter the area and therefore the hotel (not sure if it’s per day or per visit). It is far from thamel which is the main popular area but ornate isn’t worth a day hanging around the east. Personally I think the room was great, quiet and calm. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast overlooking the stupa was 1. One of the best tasting food we had all trip and 2. Perhaps even the best view. The staff were really attentive and I couldn’t have asked for a better intros to Nepal!

Excellent spot
Once inside the location it's awesome. Filled with art and crafts and memoirs and paintings and endless stuff. Awesome terrace view. Good food. But the room smells horrible wiith mildew. No air circulation. Very suffocating. Noise from the kitchen till late night and early morning too.
A great location in the heart of boudhanath. The basic room was clean and quiet with a welcome hot shower. The restaurant is a little pricey by Nepalese standards but the menu and service are first class.

Nice rooms and staff; terrible internet.
The location is extremely convenient, and the rooms are probably the nicest in Boudha. But if you have a Mac laptop, you can't use it. Their WiFi sign-in form simply will not appear for a Mac. I was able to connect my Android phone, but even then the signal was weak and would often disconnect. not a good choice if you need to to any work in your room on your Mac.
