The Beach Tower is one of two towers in the Beach Villas and is the one located closest to the water). The panoramic views of the water, sand beach, and even mountains are stunning. You can even see the water laying in bed in the master bedroom! Our unit is one of only two at the 11th (top) floor, so it provides peaceful privacy. It on the northwest side so you can enjoy awesome sunsets from the lanai, and close enough to the water to hear the surf in the evenings. Ko Olina Resort is one of the most beautiful and peaceful spots on the earth. There are 4 large protected coves that are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or sunbathing on the sand or well-maintained grass. Just a short walk up the beach are additional smaller coves that are great for snorkeling and you can almost always find turtles enjoying them as well. There are plenty of restaurants at the nearby (walking distance) Marriott hotels, New Disney Hotel or shopping center and there is also a Roy’s restaurant within walking distance on the gorgeous Ko Olina Golf Course. The JW Marriott has tennis courts on top of the parking garage with great ocean views. Ko Olina Resort is conveniently located just 21 freeway miles from Honolulu Airport, and about 30 freeway miles from Waikiki. There is a brand new Costco in Kapolei is just a few miles away. Kapolei is a new master planned city with major stores, such as Safeway and Target, and plenty of restaurants. The condo is top-of-the-line luxury and has a complete Roy Yamaguchi designed kitchen with induction cooktop Wolf oven and subzero refrigerator. Dishwasher, microwave, wine chiller cabinet, complete dishware, cookware and all the appliances so you can make your favorite meals. The floor plan is wide so all bedrooms and living areas have ocean views. There is also a Bosch washer and dryer located inside the unit. There are even 2 parking spots located in the underground garage. There are boogie boards, snorkeling gear, swimming noodles, and some water toys in the unit for your enjoyment. We also have a cooler and the blue ice for you to bring cold drinks and food to the beach or the pool. There are 2 beach chairs for you to take to the beach and relax. There is a King size bed in the Master bedroom and two twin beds in the 2nd bedroom that can be combined to make a 2nd King. There is a very comfortable sofa bed in the great room. There are flat screen TV's in each of the rooms with cable. ( 55' HD LED TV with Blueray/DVD player and DVR with cable TV in Living room, 46' LED HD TV with Blueray/DVD player and cable TV in Master bedroom, and 40' HD TV with cable TV in 2nd bedroom.) Wireless and wired broadband Internet and free long local phone service throughout Hawaii. The Beach Villas have 2 fantastic salt water pools with sand bottom hot tubs. There is a large fitness center with steam room and sauna on the property. The family enjoyed their stay. Check in was delayed as the room was being cleaned when they got to check in but no issues. The view was very nice. One issue that we had on all three units was Condo Control. Most of our pass keys had to be redone and I was contacted every day that we were not registered in 1103 and the front desk said unfortunately this is happening a lot. Had beautiful views and all the amenities a family of 4 needs. If you have never stayed at ko olina beach villas I cannot recommend it enough. We ate most meals at the Four Seasons and spent our days by the pool or on the beach. Family of 4 with 2 teenage boys. Rooms on opposite ends of the units were perfect. Super safe location so no concerns sending the boys out on their own to explore. This was our second stay at ko olina beach villas and this unit was definitely nicer than last previous one. It is clear Ron the owner had put effort into maintaining the unit. He was also quick to respond when we had an issue with the dryer. Resolved very quickly. The views were spectacular. The Beach Villas are so well run and maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The check in information was easy to follow, and the condo was exactly as described.We selected this condo based on previous reviews, and it did not disappoint. The location is not too far from Honolulu, but far enough to avoid the crowds. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby - even a Costco to gas up our car. We appreciated the information that the host left in the living room to explain how the appliances, air conditioner, etc, worked, and the list of recommended restaurants. The beach just outside the villas was clean and never crowded - such a different experience from visits to Waikiki Beach or the North Shore. We were walking distance to the Four Seasons, where we enjoyed an evening under the stars with an astronomer and his telescopes! So lovely!Our family loved our stay. The unit was impeccable; everything was just as described in the listing. I highly recommend this property as both the unit and the property amenities were excellent. Communication with the owner was great prior to our stay; no need to contact the owners during our stay as everything was as expected. Check-in and check-out was very easy with resort staff. Onsite parking was wonderful, and extra guest parking was available free of charge for guests who visited us for a day at the beach. Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Beautiful , quiet penthouse perfect for four adults. Loved that they have umbrella, chairs, towels etc to use at the beach. Easy walk to market and restaurants. This is our third stay and we have stayed in three different condos in the beach tower at this location. This specific penthouse would have the best view of any the three condos we have stayed in. Having compared staying both on the North (parking lot) and South (pool) sides of the building now, I would say that depending on the time of year be prepared for more the potential for more wind on the North side lanai’s. Not an issue with the condo, more specific with the building.Specific to this condo I found communication with the owner very easy and they were prompt in answering questions and providing assistance.My only constructive feedback is that I did find that most of the dishes we used seemed to be a tad dirty so we washed them prior to our first use. Several of the interior lights had died or were flickering. Perhaps just an oversight by house keeping. The remainder of the condo was cleaned well otherwise. We did notice that this condo’s furniture seemed to be getting a little worn however it did not interfere with our enjoyment. I only mention this as compared to our previous stays in different condos had newer furniture.Overall was a good stay with by far the nicest view we’ve had. Merely the creature comforts were a tad lower than we’ve become accustomed to. ##### Brycen R. The owner was very communicative, the location and condition of the condo was perfect for us. Nicely stocked that made it so easy to prepare meals. Loved the sunset views from the balcony every evening. Pools and beach right out front were great. So nice this time of year when it is not too crowded.
