This location in Kanab was a perfect place to use as home base. The house was very clean, in a quiet area, well stocked with all the essentials, and the owner was extremely responsive to questions. The view of from the back yard of the cliffs was stellar! Two grocery stores within a couple of miles of the house and a decent choice of restaurants in the area. This location was perfect, and the house had everything we needed. We had some trouble with the lockbox to access the key at check in, but the host was quick to respond to text messages (even though we arrived at almost 11pm) and then we got the help we needed to get in and everything was fine! Would definitely stay here again if I come back with family to do more exploring of Zion NP. The location is fantastic for Zion, Bryce, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The Squaw Trailhead right around the corner from the house was a favorite, too! The house was clean and well maintained. The host was responsive, kind, and very quick to reply. We used it as our base for 5 days and traveled to many of the major sites: Grand Canyon north rim, Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, and also explored the local area. We loved hiking the trails that go up the red hills in the back yard. The place itself is very spacious and clean with a beautiful patio. The host is great, very communicative and we had no issues. Local hikes are literally right out the front door. The property Itself was plenty of room for our mixed family group. We really loved the outdoor space which had a nice table and chairs a peaceful garden with pond nearby. It was summer so we didn’t use the fire pits or any of the grills.
