With an open design, this home was custom built for vacationing families. You'll also have access to La Estancia's indoor & outdoor swimming pools, and hot tub. Hiking trails are within minutes from the home & you're sure to fall in love with the spectacular views of the red rock plateaus. Centrally located to Zion Bryce Canyon, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon & more. The Space: That's right, Come On In! It's the perfect place to relax before you head out to explore. We're excited you chose to stay in Kanab, the Greatest Earth on Show. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, chill your bottle of bubbly in the wine fridge for later, or add a splash of Torani to your favorite soda to create your own special drink. Just unwind. Spend time in the backyard grilling, reading a book, snoozing in the hammock, or playing some games. As night falls, be sure to gather round the fire pit to share your favorite moments of the day. Don't forget to push back those antigravity chairs and enjoy a few quiet minutes gazing up at the stars in the dark night sky. Ready to eat? You'll find the kitchen cupboards hold all the basic household items you may need, including a blender, toaster, crock pot, baking dish, cookie sheet, pots, pans, waffle iron, hand mixer, round and square pans, griddle, electric frying pan and pizza pan. There are even unbreakable cups, plates, and bowls for the kids along with a highchair. Use the washer and dryer to travel home with clean clothes - laundry pods provided. We will send you a private lock code prior to your reservation. Clubhouse and pool hours are 5AM to 11PM. The outdoor pool is closed for the winter from November 1st to the last week in May. The Neighborhood: The La Estancia neighborhood is the finest in Kanab. Master-planned, it features a clubhouse with an indoor & seasonal outdoor pool, and recreation room. There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Getting Around: La Estancia is just minutes away from the charming and historic Kanab center, with its award-winning restaurants and shops. Our guests can hike, bike and walk directly to everything the town has to offer. Hwy 89 is less than a mile away providing access to our world-renowned national parks and recreational areas surrounding Kanab. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away. Other Things to Note: Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date. It's **important** to note that there are VERY strict CC&R's established in the La Estancia neighborhood. For EACH day any of the rules are broken, you will be FINED anywhere from $100 to $500, depending on the rule. Rules for La Estancia Community: \- There is NO parking on the street whatsoever! You're welcome to park your vehicles in the driveway or in the garage. \- If you bring ATV’s, they CANNOT be parked in the driveway and MUST be parked in the garage. \- Absolutely NO parties or events are to be held in any of the houses. \- Tenants may NOT invite outside guests (friends or relatives not staying in the home) to use the common area facilities. \- Please be respectful of the neighbors who live in the community. Please make sure to put the pool key back in its original place once you are done using it. If you lose the pool key it is a **$250 FEE** to replace it. For the safety of our property and our guests, we have cameras around the perimeter of the property. We offer a free concierge service with some great recommendations! Kids loved the hammock in the back; husband loved the trail in the community. My only wish was that there were some beach towels. We swam in the pool, reservoir, and Lone Rock Beach so beach towels would've been useful. ##### Josi E. Backyard was perfect to relax. We used backyard games owner left for use. Best part and don’t miss it…. We woke up every night around 2am to lay on the back lawn and look at stars. Stars come out earlier but better after midnight. We saw 5 shooting stars in our last night. Easy drive to lots of trails, Zion and Bryce. Don’t miss Kanarra falls hike. It was very cool. Stay here. The house was perfect for a group of couples so we could all have a king or queen bed room. Perfect for hanging out with a beautiful yard with a view, nice amenities, hosts thought of a lot of extras. My friends & husband contacted the hosts and they decorated the house pre-arrival. They answered any questions we had and were happy to drop off items we had shipped to the office. Overall, just a really nice, easy experience! We would come back in a heartbeat! Location was nice for doing Zion and the closer hikes to Kanab such as the sand caves. A private pool would obviously be the best of the best, but having a community pool was great and not busy each time we went. ##### Kara M.
