Relax & recharge after a day of exploring southern Utah & all it has to offer! Located in a quiet neighborhood in Kanab, less than an hour away from Zion, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park & less than 90 minutes to Bryce Canyon & the Grand Canyon. Located just 1 block from the city park & pool. At the end of the day, you'll love coming back to your own private hot tub to unwind while you gaze at the starry skies & soothe away the miles of hiking you can do here. The Space: Hayduke's Hideout is a spacious home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms designed with your comfort in mind! We're located on a quiet street only a block away from Jacob Hamblin Park complete with a playground and splash pad, basketball courts and skate park with pump track, as well as the Kanab City swimming pool with lazy river and water slide, and little league baseball fields. Perfect location for the 4th of July fireworks or to set up camp if you have a little baseball player. Our home has been renovated with central air conditioning and heating. You're sure to love the clean, modern feel of the entire home. As mentioned, you can bring your pets, too! This property is a pet-friendly property and does require a $75 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends. Pet Policy: Pets are **NOT** allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, please understand and respect our policy. On to the details: Family Room: Couch and two oversized chairs, TV. Gourmet Kitchen: Stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, blender, toaster, and crock pot. Walk out to the side patio and take in the great views of the red cliffs! Dining Area: Dining table off of kitchen, seats six. Main Floor Bedroom #1: King bed, closet. Main Floor Bedroom #2: King bed, walk-in closet, ceiling fan. Main Floor Bathroom: Tub/Shower combination, vanity. Downstairs Living Room: Couch, dining table, ceiling fan. (Fireplace is not for guest use.) Downstairs Bedroom #1: Queen bed, closet. The Neighborhood: You're just blocks from the center of town and you can walk to shops, restaurants and our parks. You'll be able to hike directly from our home to many of the trails surrounding Kanab. There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Getting Around: This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away. Other Things to Note: Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date. Again, this property is a pet-friendly property and does require a $75 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends. Check-in was easy and communication was fast and clear. The bedrooms were large and spread out so that everyone had enough space to enjoy themselves. Everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals together. We loved the backyard and hot tub- the perfect way to warm up after cool November hikes. One of our guests left something behind, and the company shipped it back to our home. We really appreciate the thoughtfulness! I highly recommend this property! ##### Katherine H. The location of the house was wonderful, but not walking distance to town. Two of the burners on the stove don’t work, and the pots and pans are definitely old and almost unusable. The furniture was very nice, the house was very clean, and the beds were wonderful! The best part was the backyard, the nighttime view was amazing! With a little upgrade, this would be an absolutely wonderful rental. ##### Theresa H. Location : was great for all kind of activities However : it does need some touch up. We were 8 people and there was not enough towel. The AC somehow was broken and did not work. NOTE: I am sure , I could contact the host and he would come and fix it. The downstairs has a full bathroom ( including toilet ) and there was not any fan…. We stayed for only one night and all those issues were not a big deal. Downstairs offers two bed rooms : one is beside the heating and cooling room and was noisy for me. The host was great, fast reply to all my request🙏 ,helped us and we had earlier check in .,. I would recommend this place for a short stay 👌 ##### Homa S. I had 3 children under 10, 4 adults, and 1 mid-size dog. This house was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The beds are amazingly comfortable. We all slept so well. You are able to control the air conditioning to your liking and it cooled the house very quickly. The yard is fenced in so our dog was able to run around and play in the grass without concern of him escaping the yard. The hot tub was so relaxing to get in and it had a fantastic view all around. We used the grill and it cooked our steaks great. There were extra household items furnished in the house so we did not end up having to buy paper towels/salt-pepper/dish soap/hand soap/trash bags etc. I'm not sure if that was just left from the last visitors or if the owners do that for everyone. We have stayed at many different locations in Kanab but this one is by FAR the nicest house we have ever rented and the property management team is incredibly attentive and quick to ensure your stay is everything you want it to be. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a house in Kanab to rent this one. Hot tub with a view is relaxing after hiking or shopping around the area. 2 bedrooms on main floor and 2 in basement was great for our family. Plain and simple (pet friendly so no extras) yet lovely to come back to your own private spot to relax. ##### Tara G. We hit up Lake Powell/Glen Canyon, North Rim Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion. After long days, it was great to come back to comfy beds and the hot tub. Kanab is a charming town with lots to offer too-between that and all of the national parks it's impossible to see it all in just a week. The host was very attentive and even dropped off a cute little Independence Day goody bag for the kids :) ##### Charis S.
