I was lucky to be the only one amongst the 4 of us that had a room booked to get a lovely view of the Petronas towers. Because everything else in the room was old and falling apart. The sockets were coming out of the wall, the bedding had holes and foundation stains in them, the bathroom had mold and paint coming off the ceiling. the shower door wouldn't close and it looked like it had grime all over the tiles and walls...it was probably bleached so badly the colour had gone. Bath mat did not get changed at all during my 7 night stay, no hand/face towels for the first few days, then changing them was hit and miss, and at some point they took them away and not replaced them...bath towels were really old, had gone from white to some dirty grey, again with holes in them and at some point when replaced they had hair from other people.
It is a very convenient hotel if you have business going on in the centre, and the view I got was lovely, but that aside it needs some serious renovation.
