We very much enjoyed our stay, with the highlights being a beautiful setting and helpful and friendly service. The hotel staff was able to arrange transport to La Plantacion and the Phnom Penh airport and even offered us a very late checkout (unprompted), so we could shower and rest before departing for an overnight flight.
Thank you to the hotel staff for a wonderful stay.
Absolutely perfect in every way! Beautiful property and amazing staff. We did kayaking and also went to pepper farm and salt fields, however just staying at our water front bungalow was an experience on its own.
The positive aspects: excellent staff. The manager, Taa, was the manager, who provided transportation to and from the transit stations The rooms were spacious. The property had ample common space. The pool area was large and scenic. The restaurant had a decent menu and was convenient. The only negative for us was the immediate area around the resort was not particularly walkable. It is serviced by an unpaved road.
This place is a welcome sanctuary from the hustle a bustle of Kampot. We did some day trips to kep markets and Kampot pepper farm which were easily organised by the hotel. They also easily organise a scooter for the day for us to visit bakor mountain.
The hotel is about 10 minutes drive from Kampot town, however is was easy to organise for the hotel to drop you in to town and get a grab tuk tuk for about $2.
The restaurant and food was great as well as the free access to the canoe which was a highlight at sunset. We had a Riverview room which has a balcony overlooking the river for and evening drink.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are touring in Kampot.
Nice enough place. Food ok. Rooms very nice. ‘River view’ doesn’t really mean river view. Staff weird when we asked to take the free shuttle to town twice in a day. And when our credit card was lost and we asked for their help in giving us cash (to be put on the bill) they refused (meaning we had to spend two hours in town wrestling with money transfers).
The most beautiful tropical resort: if you want to experience the real Khmer hospitality you should definitely book this hotel.
In a village with very happy smiling people, this hotel is an oasis, you will get all the comfort that you can imagine. Beautiful, every detail is perfect. Great breakfast.
Took Kaiaks on the river that’s right by the hotel, what a wonderful experience.
Had dinner in Kampot- felt a bit sketchy, if traveling with young kids, stay at the hotel and enjoy a very nice meal there rather than going at night in Kampot.
The hotel also arranged a nice trip to La Plantation, the pepper farm, and visited Kep, with the famous crab market.
This is such a great hotel!!!

The room was lovely and I got mostly what I had paid for. The big let down at this property was the fact that the outside bathtub on the river (which is one of the main features you spend the extra money for) was damaged so could not be used, the hotel didn’t offer any money back or even just to swap the bath tub with a different room or to move rooms. As somebody who likes to have a bath to relax on holiday this was pretty bad, the staff said “no, sorry” without a way to resolve it.
This is a great hotel and I was given an upgrade to a river view suite, which was excellent. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
I booked this hotel purely because it said on the detail that it had a fitness suite. It does not have a fitness suite. I also asked if a massage could be arranged and this was not possible.
There was a big private party going on on the Friday evening, which didn’t really bother me. However I was told that it would finish around 930 and it was well after 10 when it finished. Some of the party people also had a private barbecue at the pool the following day so I felt as if I was intruding a little.
Only two vegetarian options on the dinner menu, very limited for me.
I was provided with a free shuttle into town by two of the lovely staff, they dropped me where I asked, which was good. The road to the hotel was being built and my taxi couldn’t get all the way to the hotel on the way there, I was met with a Tuk Tuk from the hotel.
Hotel staff also organise a Tuk Tuk for a day trip, the driver spoke good English and was very knowledgeable.
