"Least accommodating stay of our trip. AC in room never increased to temperature, staff notified and seemed to be blown off. Expect to be nickel and dimed for resort fees and parking but get little value in return. A good hotel at best but by no means a resort warranting fees. You will find better value at the Whaler Resort."

"Clean room but very small and cramped for 4 people (adults,2 teens). There was no space for our luggage to sit out in the room to access it so we were constantly walking over luggage on the floor. Not enough drawer space for 4 people to unpack in order to put luggage in the closet as the room was quite small. Tiny fridge, only good for a few small items and was not very cold. A/C worked very well. Lanai/balcony was nice to have and it was spacious with two chairs and a table, gave us room to spread out. Adult only hot tub is nice but they should allow kids 12 and up accompanied by an adult. So many teens wanted to hang with their parents at the hot tub on the cooler days but weren’t allowed. "

"Overall, the staff and hotel amenities were amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. However, the cleanliness of the resort had much to be desired. In our first room, there was a mineral and biofilm build up in the sink faucet, big lumps of dust covering the vents and bathroom door, a broken latch on said door, and a broken seal on the sliding door to the balcony that made it foggy. We asked to switch rooms after noticing these details on our first day. Our second room had a smaller but still noticeable mineral build up in the faucet, something plant-like poking out of the ceiling, dripping wood stain from a beam, trash under the tv stand (from previous inhabitants), and a random termite swarm the night of our fifth day. Every time housekeeping came to clean and restock our room, no one addressed the faucet buildup, wood stain, mystery ceiling intruder, or trash under the tv stand (which we found ourselves on our last day). Aside from our rooms, the pool chairs, umbrellas, and parts of the restaurant outside were covered in bird waste and were not cleaned. The staff were very helpful throughout our trip and we thoroughly enjoyed the amenities, but the cleanliness of the resort overall really took away from the experience."

"This was an incredible property! The room was amazing and beautiful, the food was delicious, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was our favorite of all the hotels we saw in the area and we wandered around several. We will definitely stay here every time we're in the area."

"We spent a week at the Marriott Ocean Club in Maui with our two kids (ages 2 and 6), and it turned out to be an ideal family stay. The property really has everything you need on-site, which made traveling with young kids much easier. The highlight for our family was definitely the kids’ pool area—especially the large pirate ship, which kept both kids entertained for hours. The grounds are well-maintained, and there’s a great balance between fun and relaxation. Our one-bedroom villa was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The sofa bed was surprisingly large and actually comfortable, which isn’t always the case, so that was a nice bonus. The only downside for us was the food. The experience at Beach Walk wasn’t great—staff didn’t feel particularly welcoming, and the food itself was underwhelming. We ended up going to nearby hotels and restaurants for most of our meals, which worked out much better. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for families, and we’d absolutely consider staying again—just with plans to dine elsewhere."
