Discover Granite Getaway, a well-appointed two-bedroom apartment in Juneau's Mendenhall Valley, positioned at the base of Thunder Mountain and next to a peaceful greenbelt.

A trailhead at the end of the street provides access toward Mendenhall Glacier, with relatively flat and even terrain along the route.

Inside the Apartment

Located on the second level above the garages, Granite Getaway offers two private bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-sized bed.

The private laundry area is located downstairs in the garage area and can be accessed directly from the apartment.

Property & Parking

The property consists of three separate dwelling units connected by a three-bay garage. The layout means the individual units do not share walls.

Free off-street parking is provided. Guests may park one vehicle in front of the middle garage space. Please note that garage parking is not currently available.

Convenient Mendenhall Valley Location

Granite Getaway is positioned between the Juneau Airport and Mendenhall Glacier, making it a convenient base for exploring the area.

* University of Alaska — 4 miles
* Juneau Ferry Terminal — 6 miles
* Downtown Juneau — 10.5 miles
* Eaglecrest Ski Area — 21 miles

The local bus stop is approximately a 10-minute walk away, with a convenience store located nearby.

Two bicycles are available to rent for $10 per bike per day for the duration of your stay. For longer-term stays, the rate is $50 per bike per stay.

Self Check-In

Late arrivals are easy with our self-check-in system. Your lockbox code will be provided a few days before arrival.

Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional fee depending on availability.

Pets

Pets are welcome with prior approval. An additional $30 nightly pet fee applies. Please inquire about monthly pet rates for longer stays.
