"Lovely property. Was just perfect for what we were looking for. The fenced it back yard was amazing for us to be able to bring it digs with us. The creek/waterfall in the backyard was so much fun. Loved the seclusion of it and how cozy it was. Internet was spotty, but that’s to be expected to the seclusion and mountains and was kind of a nice break!"

"The cabin is beautiful. It has everything you need and more. My family really enjoyed the abundance of family games (we played Cornhole every night!) and firewood (also nightly fires!). Everything is very clean and well stocked. The front porch hammock was my favorite place to nap! For anyone considering staying here: The property is located perfectly to explore the DuPont State Forest as it is about 5 miles away. Pisgah National Forest is about a 40 minute drive away, we spent lots of time hiking there as well. We also explored hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway, about an hour drive away to get on the parkway. All in all, we WILL be back. Thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin with us!"

"My group and I could not have dreamed of a better place. The space is amazing and so very clean and the kitchen was well stocked so we ate in every night. The views are incredible and the location is prime for waterfall chasing, hiking, antiquing etc. We enjoyed dining and playing games on the porch and used the inside table to do a puzzle.The host was exceptionally prompt with answers to questions. The bedroom configuration was great for our trip which included couples and singles, no children. Simply put you would be hard pressed to find anything wrong and I highly recommend vacationing here."

"In one word...PERFECT! We didn't want to leave. Secluded, comfortable, and ideally located near many hiking trails and gorgeous waterfalls! Downtown Brevard is also only about 20 min from the property! The home was well equipped with everything we needed and the outdoor space with wraparound deck is quite impressive. The only negative was it was hard to find at night. It's tucked away off the road. We will be back!"

"A friend and I needed a place to stay for a mutual friend’s wedding. The moment we arrived, we were smitten with the cottage and the location. We felt safe, relaxed and absolutely enjoyed our stay. As 2 Moms getting away for a few days, it was a perfect location to Pretty Place for a wedding, Travele: Rest for dinner and for lots of adventurous hikes. The cottage had everything we needed, was cozy and was clean. We loved the porches!"

"Amazing host - super responsive and friendly. Clean place. Details that make the experience memorable. Kitchen is stocked with spices and different cooking utensils and options. Bedding was clean. And the area….Devine. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not luxury but it’s nice and full of charming character and takes me back to my roots. Before we got there the kids wanted to sleep in the basement but once there no one slept in the basement and they opted for the tiny upstairs loft beds to be closer to us. There’s so much lovely hiking around and the town is adorable. Check out the Sherwood Forrest golf area while there. Low cost low pressure family fun time."
