It was nice when we got there, until we saw a new york cockroach!! I am literally not kidding, I asked my boyfriend if that was a cockroach and he reluctantly said yes. The hotel people were just standing there chatting as it was in the lobby. And the hotel walls were super thin. We could hear everyone and everything. We were also disappointed with the breakfast, there was barely anything and ants were crawling all over the juice, resulting in us buying our breakfast. Don’t waste your time or your money here.

We were in a room next to a family with young children that were verbally noisy and banging. Recommend placing families at the end of the hall to minimize exposure to other guests.

This hotel was not very clean or well kept up. We did not stay the night here and stayed elsewhere. The bed in our original room had hair and what seemed like crumbs on the bed. We understand these things happen so we went down and the staff did upgrade us to a suite no extra charge which was very kind. Once we walked into the second room we quickly realized this too wasn’t clean. Marks and stains all over the bed and sheets, crumbs on the table/island area, a residue around the sink. It just wasn’t worth staying the night and after the second room we weren’t willing to try a third.

Room nested with ants. Shower leaked all over floor drain not workin creating fall risk. Non service pets all over motel that advertises no pets. People smoking in non smoking rooms smelling up hallway. I say the staff were very nice and cordial.

Customer service was great. Room was clean. We booked this property trying to be economical but did not appreciate someone knocking on our door after 11pm and alarm clock from next room waking us up at 5:15am - and going off and on for over an hour. Walls were very thin, not soundproof. Next time we will pay the higher rate to hopefully have more considerate neighbors. For others looking to book this hotel we hope you have a better experience. That was a first for us, and acknowledge next time may be much better.

Problems with toilet not working. After 2 failed attempts to fix, we were finally moved to a different room. This room was right outside laundry and ice machine which was noisy. Continental breakfast was horrible. Juice machine out of order. No fresh fruit. Very limited selection. Comfortable bed.

I think this is about as good as it gets in Jasper. It was good for the price. Seemed like there are some things that need to be updated. It was pretty humid in the room even with the air on. But the staff is what really made the visit. They’re all very welcoming.

Keep looking for another place
Check in took a while (and we were the only ones there). Its a no smoking hotel, but smells like smoke just about everywhere. Our first room clearly had been smoked in and the smoke detector was beeping. The second did not smell of smoke, but the windows leaked air and squealed in the wind. Not a lot of choices in the area, but the B & Bs are probably better unless your budget says otherwise.

Room was stuffy and stunk. Smelled musty, kinda like the filter in the AC unit was 20 years old. Bathroom floor was dirty. Looked like it was swept with a broom but the pile of dirt and hair was left. Hairs found in a towel and in the bed sheets. I will not stay here again.

The property is tired feeling. Our room did not include a frig and microwave. The chair in the room had nails sticking out of the feet tearing up the worn carpet. We stayed here approximately 2 years ago and the place seems to have not had any improvements since. There was not a warm breakfast, coffee was not good, juice machine and toaster did not work correctly.

The Hotel is in a great area, there are also local stores near. Inside of the lobby was well kept. Staff was nice. The room I stayed in needed some touchups to be in better shape. Carpet had some stains. The bed was comfortable. Over all Location & building was nice and good area.

Surly check in staff. Thin walls so you can hear the folks next door and above. Breakfast inadequate - consists of a bagel but there’s no toaster to toast it in. Bathroom had holes in the walls where old fixtures had been removed. Generally grimey.
