"It was fine for a few nights, but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend. Cons: It was SO loud with trucks and motorcycles going by all day and night. I wore earplugs and still couldn’t sleep. This is a common in jardín, so I’d recommend looking for a hotel on the edge of town if you want to sleep. Also service could have been better. No one was there when I arrived at 1pm, which may be been Expedia’s fault, and no one ever responded to my messages. Owners don’t seem to be around often if you need...

"The property is beautiful and traditional. This location is close to everything you need. However, I do have 1 concern. I paid for a Superior Room which details show a large room with balcony and 1 double bed. Upon arrival, check in was easy and the receptionist was friendly. However, I was not given the room I paid for. I was given a much smaller room on the main floor in the rear of the building that looks like a standard room. "This is a beautiful hotel about a 15 minute walk from downtown Jardin. The grounds are beautiful with a large pond and water lilies. We stayed in the lodge and had a waterfall outside our bedroom window! The staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast is good! It is nice to be surrounded by lovely countryside!"

"When I checked in, they were very firm about quiet hours from 9pm to 8am. It was Saturday night and there was loud conversation at least until 11pm. I wish there was a night table. No roses as per the photos. LOL. Otherwise, it was easy to walk to the main square, bus station, etc. The older staff was conscientious, professional and friendly. Good value for the money. "
