El lugar está ya un poco viejo, para la tarifa esperaba algo más bonito. Necesita renovación de las habitaciones se sienten viejas y desactualizadas, es bastante sencillo y eso que teníamos una Suite que esperaba fuera más linda y moderna. Se sentía como estar en un motel de paso. El desayuno estuvo bien pero no espectacular ni en variedad ni en sabor. Frente a la playa tienen 4 sillas solamente para la cantidad de personas hospedadas es muy poco. En lo positivo la ubicación, el servicio de la gente es bueno, son muy amables y atentos tanto en restaurante como en recepción. La mini refri en la habitación y nos tocó una con vista a la playa. También amplio espacio de parqueo aun cuando sea en un lote a unos metros de distancia.

This property has such great potential. The amenities need some work. Staff , hotel and bar was very excellent. There was a strange smell on the elevator. Outdated Covid placards should be removed in my opinion as most folks don’t want to remember those days. Fix the plastic chairs and pick up the trash on the beach . I will be back but would hope these things can be improved upon

Great breakfast! Beautiful beach, nice pool and pool deck area.A bit out of town so if you don’t eat at the hotel you need to Uber into town. The beach is not a good swimming beach but the pool is great!

Nice economy hotel
The location of the hotel was great. It within few steps to the beach. The rooms were spacious enough but the bathroom was very small. The bathroom door was such that it was difficult to move around. The breakfast was fine, basically same menu daily. One of the things that bothered me the most is the condition of coffee cups and plastic water/juice cups. They were never properly cleaned. The cups smelled like they were just rinsed not really cleaned with soap. We had rented a car so moving around the town and hotel was not an issue. But, if you don't have a car, it may get annoying calling an Uber or taxi. The hotel is very far from the main town. Overall, our stay was fine, comfortable except for few little things.

Great location, very very simple accommodation
It doesn’t get any better than having breakfast across from the ocean. Simple rooms, same breakfast everyday. Service was excellent! From the restaurant to the front desk to the people helping with the tv and cleaning, everyone was super nice and welcoming!

We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach and more secluded, so we didn’t have to deal with a large crowd. The downside is transportation is not readily available. We had to wait 30-60 minutes for an Uber, so will need to plan ahead.

My go-to place in Jaco
I discovered this hotel last year on a trip to Jaco. Its right on the beautiful beach of Playa Hermosa. Rooms are super clean. Pool is nice. Restaurant food is good. But the staff is absolutely great. Super kind and helpful. Its my go to place when i want to visit the Jaco area.

Nice place to stay not to eat
Small but nice place to stay. Since it is located away from the main road it is quiet and feels "private". On the other hand, food is expensive, too little and ugly but since it is apart from everything you need to take the car to eat somewhere else.

The property needs a makeover for sure. However, there is something about it that is magical. It makes you feel relaxed just to sit outside. The service is friendly, although they could make more money if they did pool service. It was very slow in the restaurant and we still had to go order. All in all, you get what you pay for. The view was incredible though and we were pleased.

We booked this as a last minute stay on our way to Manuel Antonio. While you cannot really swim at the beach, it is beautiful and you can walk it. You can also watch the surfers, which is fun. The restaurant was good and the service was great. We did not use the pool. The room was cool and quiet.

Mala experiencia de 3 noches
La atención del personal deja mucho que desear, tuvimos una discusión con el encargado del restaurante y otra en recepción; los empleados con cara de pocos amigos, como si nos estuvieran haciendo un favor a uno por estar en el hotel. Por otro lado, se hacen llamar Petfriendly pero su restaurante no lo es, bueno nada friendly la verdad. La limpieza y manteniendo de las instalaciones no son para un hotel que se cataloga como 4 estrellas con costo llegan a 2 estrellas; en general, nuestra experiencia no ha sido nada buena y no creemos que vayamos a volver otra vez.

Gracias Gerardo por su comentario, tenemos un área abierta frente al mar en el restaurante para que los clientes puedan estar con su mascota, lamentamos que no les hayan gustado las indicaciones. Respecto al trato damos lo mejor para hacer sentir al cliente a gusto, lamentamos el mal momento que sintieron pasar.

The people were friendly. The pool was warm and towels were provided. The beach is across the small street. It is not near stores or dining, which means the beach is private and isolated. the dining area of the hotel provides all that you need. Two scarlet macaws live in the trees across from the hotel - a lovely sight.

This was a nice little hotel. I loved that it had a restaurant on site. The free morning breakfast was wonderful! The staff was very efficient and super friendly. It’s just steps from the ocean, with an amazing view. The hotel itself is a little bit dated, BUT, very clean and the beds are very comfortable. A great place for families. A plus if you like to surf. I did feel a little isolated and can understand why people rent a car. Overall, I would go back to this little gem.
