The balcony and it's beautiful view, as well as the ease of getting to the water were our favorite parts, but I have to say I've never stayed in such a well-kept and clean rental. The beach is pristine and not crowded at all. We love that it is dog-friendly and enjoyed watching other peoples dogs, (having no desire to bring our own to the beach). We had wonderful meals at the Salty Pelican and the Sand Bar. We drove to Jacksonville to visit some breweries, (Intuition and Aardwolf) which were both very good! We also did a tasting at the Marlin & Barrel distillery on the island and brought home some of their bourbon and vodka. We enjoyed walking around the downtown Fernandina Beach area with all the cute shops and historic homes. We went to Fort Clinch as well. It is such a beautiful park and the Fort is absolutely amazing. We were awestruck at the workmanship of each building and all the historic furnishings and artifacts inside them. It's on the beach and we love the private balconies. The location is convenient to downtown and restaurants. Have never stayed in this unit previously but hope to for all future visits. Top floor and oceanfront doesn’t get any better. Bed was so comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed to cook. So very close to downtown and to Ft Clinch State Park of which we enjoyed both. Virtually no grass without very nasty sand spurs. So I wouldn’t recommend bringing a long haired dog. But the condo, host, view were all great! ##### David P. She did very well and the property was well set up for this. View from balcony was EXCELLENT! The condo was very comfortable. Washer/dryer were older but worked fine. Very comfy bed. The view of the ocean from the balcony is fabulous! It’s close enough to the water so that you can easily hear the surf. We’re happy they allow dogs on the beach. We had a minor technical issue and Micheal was very responsive in helping us rectify the situation. The cleaning service does a very good job. We’ll be back. ##### Nancy S. This isn't our first time staying here and we will be back. The furniture is a little tired and the water pressure could be a little stronger, but having a private balcony right on the beach and a kitchen so well equipped makes up the difference. It's also nice having an ice maker. We love this unit because it's very quiet and just perfect for the two of us, even though it would accomodate more than two. The living room furniture needs to be replaced it is worn out and not comfortable. The fixture in the bathtub shower needs to be replaced difficult to turn on and off.
