The staff claimed that this is a fake account.
The staff claimed that this a fake account and did not honour the reservation. As a compromise they offered a room at a price twice higher than the one in the original hotels.com booking. This all happened at midnight, so we contacted the helpline of hotels.com and were assisted with booking a room in another hotel. The cost difference was covered by hotels.com but the replacement hotel was far from the original one and we had to spend 400 TL for a taxi drive since no public transportation was not available at 1am. Truly bad experience with this hotel.
