A beach vacation paradise! This is a one bedroom, oceanfront "Sea Cabin" on the first floor. This sea cabin can sleep five with a queen bed in the bedroom, futon sofa in the living room (replaced July of 2025), and a built in youth bunk bed for kids in the hallway (full disclosure: these are youth bunk beds, which are skinnier than a twin, and I would not recommend children over 10 years old in them). The dimensions of the youth bunk bed are roughly 74"x25". Enjoy the private balcony with ocean views, gated community (non heated) pool, beach access, and fishing pier. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen with two bars and a full bathroom. There is a laundry facility in the middle of the complex. Located at the beautiful front beach on Isle of Palms with restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream stands all within walking distance. The Sea Cabins have the only private pier on the island and you are allowed to fish off the pier but will need a South Carolina fishing license. There is free WI-FI and cable. The Sea Cabins are located just 20 minutes from historic Downtown Charleston, 30 minutes from CHS airport and 5 minutes from 2 world class golf courses in Wild Dunes! No washer/dryer inside of unit, only in the middle of complex which takes coins or you can use an app on your phone. There are a few steps to get up to the first floor. Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide a few travel soaps and shampoos, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, two laundry and dish pods, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels. Aging Property We had a really great time at this location and enjoyed being close to the beach. I should note that this access point to the beach is right next to the public beach access area so Saturdays and Sundays are incredibly crowded and prompted us to walk down the beach about a half mile to get away from it all. Some people may enjoy the crowds but my family does not. The property itself seems to be a little older than I interpreted from the listing pictures but it's still provided a roof, beds, a kitchen, and all of the necessities to enjoy your stay at the at the beach. The proximity of this location to restaurants, ice cream shops, and such is perfect and just a few minutes walk to it all. Management was quick to resolve any issues we had and I have nothing but good things to say about them, should you ever require their services. The comfort of bed and seating areas are not ideal and obviously a tight squeeze for more than two people, but thankfully we weren’t inside often. We had a nice relaxing vacation without having to drive around too much to find something to do. Be close to restaurants, shops pool and of course the beach was awesome. Yes the place it small but for the five of us and what we needed it for it was perfect. The only thing I would change is probably the double bed was a tad uncomfortable but next time we will bring a mattress topper. Another thing was the couch was a little wonky but we made do.we were even able to stay another day with a mix up s to our departure date which was my fault. They charged us the same as the other days with no fees added. Which was very nice cause that would have been a very stressful day lol all in all had a great experience and will be returning Hopfully sooner rather than later. ##### Monica F. This listing is just as described online, and everything about the reservation process -- from booking, to checking in/out, to communicating with the host, etc. -- was easy. We went in March, so not the best time of year for perfect beach weather, but it was great having access to the beach, pool, and pier. There are several close restaurants and a grocery store. The focus of our trip was to explore different parts of Charleston, and this listing was perfect for that -- everything we wanted to see was no more than a 30-minute drive away. Our daughter loved the "whale bed," which was a plus! We will definitely return if we travel to that area again! ##### Michele G.
