For your safety: \*\*This house is thoroughly cleaned with CDC recommended sanitizer between each guest ( to include black light technology inspection after each cleaning) Nestled among the oaks and palms and overlooking the Atlantic, this three bedroom, three bath Shipwatch villa offers a cool retreat for your Wild Dunes vacation. With the direct beach access and oceanfront Shipwatch pool this villa has all you need to enjoy your Low-Country retreat. The open floor plan has a full size kitchen, with island, overlooking both the dining and living areas and offers everything the chef in your group will need - while also allowing them to be part of the group. It is also worth mentioning that, unlike so many condos, this property has a full size washer and dryer - which can be very convenient. Both the living room and master bedroom open to the ocean facing porch. You are looking at the ocean through the boughs of an aged oak tree contributing just the right amount of shade in the afternoon. This is the perfect place for enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails. All three bedrooms have their own private bath. Each bed is dressed with 100% cotton sateen sheets and feathery down pillows - the perfect place to rest if you've had a little too much fun in the sun. We have tried to make each bed as comfy as we like our own beds at home! Of course, in today's high tech world, we have smart TVs in each room along with high speed internet for those that simply cannot afford to "unplug". My only complaint is that there needs to be better lighting in the parking spaces. The black car bumpers are hard to see at night and unfortunately one of our friends tripped over it and ended up at the hospital with a broken nose, cut up knees and also needed stitches on her nose. While talking to other people staying there, one said the same thing happened to her brother last year. They have reflections on the bumpers but still hard to see at night. ##### Terri M. Wild Dunes is clean & quiet with a wide, flat, pristine (!) gorgeous beach. Great for walking, in early Sept little to no body-surfing breakers except when tide turns in. Good parking, covered spaces beneath the building are tight maneuvers for larger SUVs. Bedrooms were adequately spacious (baby’s PackNPlay fit in the king room easily) & plenty of storage. Comfortable beds, very nice down pillows, Kitchen adequately equipped & clean. Generous comfy “sprawlable” sectional sofa & dining table for 6.Balcony smaller than photo looks, large tree impedes wide ocean view a bit but not a prob for us.Balcony doors have screens but no shades/blinds in L/R so at time room was quite bright with no way to block sun.A few minor issues with appliances (hair dryer, washer) & one of the bathroom doors did not lock but host / manager was quickly responsive. We had perfect weather and our favorite part was leaving the screen doors open and hearing the beach all week. The patio was great. The walk to the beach was easy and accessible with multiple boardwalks to choose from. Chairs and umbrellas are not supplied, but that wasn’t an issue for us and you can use a rental company. The unit itself had been updated so it was a bit different than the photos suggested but we were told that would be updated soon (and the updates t the kitchen and master bath were very nice). The only issues we had were a strong mildew smell in the unit and the pillows are pretty flat. The TV also has poor quality, the color is blue. The room layout was great for us with comfortable beds. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and the Wild Dunes complex is a great place to stay with a lot to do. ##### Alexandra W. My family and a couple of our friends escaped the aftermath of hurricane Helene for the South Carolina coast and this place was the perfect spot for us all to decompress. The condo is beautiful, well equipped, and very comfortable. The beds were awesome. Communication with the owner was excellent. We hope to return soon. ##### Marla W. Easy beach access. We had two nights the A/C didn’t work (tech thought he fixed it after the first day) which made sleeping difficult but management was quick to respond and they accommodated us.
