Some neighboring complexes may have sand bags out to protect their dunes from erosion. Jun 3, 2025 #### Condo was comfortable but was not clean Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is nice but a little dated with some maintenance issues, like doors peeling and rusting. Some things I noted while staying: Coffee pot had a small hole in the bottom, and molded coffee grounds left in it, mold covering shower head in master bedroom, washing machine full of mold and mildew, did not receive pool fobs with welcome packet and had to call to get them, unable to connect to internet. When I could get ahold of someone, they were efficient to respond (Internet, coffee pot, pool fobs). I found dirty clothes between the bed and night stand. Also, I have never stayed at a beach side condo that didn't provide beach towels for the guests. I cleaned all the mold with bleach myself and after that, the condo was comfortable. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Would have appreciated some beach chairs as other rentals I have stayed at had them available. It would also be nice to have an explanation of the television remotes since they are often set up differently. Two issues which should be addressed: first the twin beds in the small bedroom may work for kids but were really too small and uncomfortable for our 2 adults sons. Overall the property was nice but not as clean as we would like. Mold in shower and kitchen sink etc. Our water was cut the morning we had to check out and took a little time to turn on so we were delayed in checkout by 20 minutes. The cleaning crew came in little after 10:00am and told us checkout was at 10\. I told them why we were delayed and they seemed unhappy almost rude.
