It is just 23 quick miles from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park and a few miles from great fishing at Henry's Lake and on Henry's Fork. You will love this gorgeous home, with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, a back deck, large lawn area, large driveway with plenty of parking, and large open spaces. The main floor boasts traditional log beams spanning an open living room with a large sectional, smart TV with Disney+ and Netflix and a lava rock wood-burning fireplace. The living room opens to a large dining area that is open to the kitchen. The dining area has 2 tables that each seat 8, as well as 4 bar stools. There is plenty of room to set up the available banquet table for more table dining. The kitchen is well equipped and has gorgeous views out toward the meadows. There is also a laundry area beyond the kitchen with a washer and dryer. The main floor also has a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath with a deep soaking Whirlpool jetted bathtub. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms connected by a jack-n-jill full bath, as well as a loft area with toys and books for the kids. One bedroom comes with a queen bed and a full/twin bunk bed and the other bedroom has 2 queens, 2 fulls and two twins. An additional full mattress pad is also available and a pack n play is available upon request (Please request at least 3 days before check in). Downstairs is a family room with a Foosball table, a desk, a TV stocked with a wide variety of movies for the DVD player, and two futon couches. There is a 3/4 bath and 2 bedrooms; one is furnished with one queen bed and a crib and the other has one queen bed and a murphy bunkbed (2 twins). In the attached heated garage is a ping-pong table and bumper pool table and an extra fridge. The lawn area outside (shared with a neighboring rental) is extensive and provides plenty of room for outside dining either on the lawn or the back deck. A volleyball net is set up in the summer months along with a large gas grill (June through October). Finally, have fun roasting marshmallows and hot dogs over the fire pit surrounded by long benches. Village Green Lodge has convenient access to many of the ATV and snowmobile trails in the area including Sawtelle Peak and Two Top Mountain. You can ride directly from the cabin onto the trail system. Also, it's located within ½ mile of a grocery store and gas station that is supplied with basic groceries, an ATV/snowmobile rental shop, and a restaurant that is open year round. The lodge features two large parking areas capable of supporting multiple cars or snowmobile/ATV trailers. It's also just 2 miles to Mack's Inn Resort. Finally, if your party is larger than 27 you can rent the adjacent studio loft apartment on the property that can hold five additional people for up to 32 people (Message me for availability or additional details ASAP if this is something you´re interested in. This space fills up fast. Also, please note that this rental apartments' occupants will be sharing the backyard with the Village Green Lodge occupants). Finally, we allow up to 2 house trained dogs on the property with prior manager approval and a $25 pet fee per dog. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended on the property and must be on leash when outside. There are 4 bedrooms with a loft. We put each of our 4 couples in a bedroom and let the cousins share the loft. They had fun being all together There is ping pong and air hockey in the lower level, but air hockey wasn't working and we had to bring our own pingpong equipment, but had a fun time with that. Kitchen is adequate for a large group, but a little dark. Grill as advertised in the listing is not available in the winter due to snow. The dining area doubled very well for games as we had 2 groups playing games most nights. It is close to snowmobiling with more parking than other lots in the neighborhood. Jun 10, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great place for an extended family trip to Yellowston This was a great place for our large, extended family trip to Yellowstone. There were about 27 of us staying in the home and everyone fit without feeling we were too crowded. 3 bathrooms was tight, but expected. Everything else worked well. There was lots of convenient extras they provided that helped with cooking and cleaning for the group. The location is about a half hour from the West Yellowstone entrance but you won't find much closer for such a large group. We did have a strange incident where someone knocked on a bathroom window just after midnight on the last night. Several adults went out looking for him but only the first 2 saw him running off in the distance. The location is safe, but just a reminder that when you are traveling you should always lock doors and expect weirdos to know what houses are being rented so they are easier targets. ##### james o. Pictures don't do this place justice! It is huge and so cozy in every way. Downside is there are 3 levels so maybe not best for older people or those who have knee problems. We had four of our children and their families for a Yellowstone reunion activity. Most had never been to Yellowstone and this location offered a wonderful haven to launch our experience. This cabin worked out great for our big group of family and friends! Lots of comfortable beds with extra blankets, even gates, playpens and high chair for a baby. Great selection of appliances in the kitchen, loved that there are 2 fridges too. The host was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful location close to a lot of the local attractions, and just a short drive to Yellowstone. We planned on snowmobiling, but the snow was just not good this weekend. Made it easy to keep the littles safe and comfy. Very nice, comfortable place with plenty of cooking and service settings. Extra amenities included made this one of the nicest places we've stayed at. Heated garage was great to dry off cold wet clothes from riding and playing in the snow. Communication with property manager was very easy and responsive. The kids enjoyed playing air hockey, pingpong and volleyball. We also enjoyed the bonfire and had some smore's. The garage needs to be more clean and organized. And the bathroom in the basement was too small. The kitchen appliances could use some upgrades like the refrigerators, washing machine, and coffeemaker. Kitchen utensils, pots and pans can do some upgrades too. The cover on the pots and pans were all miss match. This place has a nice deck at the back where you can have some bbq with family with a view of the golf course.
