All linens are professionally laundered. The space Get off the beaten track and enjoy your vacation at our home away from home. With the nation forest as you backyard, you can breathe the fresh mountain air and enjoy the privacy and tranquility of being close by nature. With room for 10 guests, this cabin is the prefect getaway for families and groups. Three bedrooms, third bedroom is a large sleeping loft, a large kitchen and dining area, two separate common areas and two full-sized bathrooms provide plenty of space for cooking, dining and entertaining, as well as comfortable sleeping arrangement and no lines for the shower! We have included all the amenities and comforts you would find at home including a fully equipped kitchen, three large screen SMART TVs, Wi-fi, comfortable beds, laundry room with washer and dryer, and outdoor space for dining and entertaining. As a bonus you can enjoy your evenings under the stars around a campfire(summer time only). We are 10 miles as well as a 10 minutes drive from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, one of the most amazing National Parks, and close to many other attractions in Island Park. Enjoy your vacation at our cabin! Our cleaning service will take care of garbage removal and all cleanings. So we will NOT be asking you to take your garbage to the landfill, and we will NOT ask you to clean all the sheets and towels or take them off the beds before you leave. Our main goal is for you to have all the time to enjoy your vacation! Please note that Island Park Landfill is very busy during the summers. However, we collect your garbage unlike many other rentals which saves a great deal of hassle. Guests have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces for dining and entertaining. There is a spacious and fully stocked kitchen for cooking, as well as a large porch with a BBQ and outdoor dining area. There are two common areas, a living and dining room downstairs and another living area upstairs, plenty of room for larger groups of 10\. For your adventures into Yellowstone and the surrounding areas we have included binoculars, trail guides and a high-resolution camera for you to use to take pictures of the amazing animals, wildlife and features in Yellowstone as well as to capture special memories together with family and friends. For children, we have toys, games and books as well as a portable crib, play mat, and high chair for our smallest guests. Communication with Kristina was quick and informative. We loved the hot tub in the evening after a day of hiking and could see so many stars on a clear night. We visited Yellowstone and the Tetons. West Yellowstone is a cute little town to walk through. We would get back usually around 4 pm and sit in the back. So very peaceful with the beautiful view of the mountains and trees turning fall colors. Yes it’s right by the highway but that did not bother us at all. We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain View Lodge, using it as a base camp for our Yellowstone and other area adventures. The home looks a bit ordinary from the outside compared to others we drove past along the way, but everything changed when we stepped inside to a bright, open, airy and clean home. It was fantastic with beautiful floors, furnishings and views of the Idaho mountains and plains. We took advantage of the hot tub and grill, both of which were easy to operate and clean. An added bonus was being able to watch the Perseid meteor shower from the backyard. Simply stunning! We appreciated staying outside of the uber-touristy West Yellowstone for the same price point.
