Fantastic views and very peaceful sleep check out at noon is a bonus and very quiet and the facilities are great. Best hotel experience yet would highly recommend.

Great rooms, great staff , very happy with the hotel the only thing that could be improved is the food , we had wings pizza and onion rings and it was bland . Upgrade the standard of food and it’s a 10/10

Great welcome. Friendly and professional at Reception. Room lovely. Disappointed with the upgrade we’d paid for. Last time we had more wine/food in fridge. Also the Lounge on 15th floor was full - no seats to sit and enjoy time, food and drinks. Breakfast in the morning was a challenge- no seats, long queues and food and drink cold by the time we could walk to our seats. Felt like there could have been 2 sides to hot food. I realise there had been an event , and the hotel was very busy, but disappointed to pay so much for inferior service. We enjoyed our stay, but feel it’s important to share this feedback.

Ideally located for a concert at the OVO Hydro. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Cracking view of the River Clyde from our 9th floor room. Enjoyed the bar, we couldn't get a table in the restaurant for dinner as it was fully booked, no big deal as the bar food is very good. Breakfast was very busy. We were seated in the back room which they used as an overspill area. I suggest you avoid going down around 10 am. Breakfast is buffet style, great selection of hot and cold food on offer. Great tattie scones and haggis! We enjoyed our say and would return.

Can’t fault this place that we stay time and time again when going to the Hydro. We did have an issue with our room but the Team sorted it pretty quick for us and was apologetic. Find the breakfast to always be of high quality and ten options varied. The car park that’s joined to the hotel is great and ten views from certain rooms are great. If I had to say one thing to balance the review it would be the Club lounge gets full pretty quick due to size, it was well stocked and they do offer up the Mezz level seating as over spill so not the end of the world.

The location for the hydro was excellent, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the room was beautiful and the view of the city was excellent (11th floor),would definitely be back and highly recommended

You pay a bit more but it’s a lovely place.
We stayed as a family on a Saturday night. When we arrived the queue for check out was very long but there was sufficient staff on at desk to make the wait not too long. The swimming pool was a great advantage which our son loved. We ate at the hotel and the food was absolutely delicious. The waiting staff work very hard and were so kind to our son. The car park is also really handy.

The hotel is located at a central place where you can access a lot of entertainments. The staff are very friendly, helpful and always ready to assist you. The breakfast is very tasty 😋 and well presented. The room is cleaned every day. Crowne Plaza Hotel is a hotel that I am more than happy to recommend to anyone. My stay was amazing 👏.

Lost its sparkle a bit.
I've stayed at this hotel many times but i think it's fallen behind the very good competitors in the area. The hotel needs a bit of money spent to lift it up again. Heating system very noisy even on the lowest setting, they did have a plug in heater which is maybe to accommodate this but I wasn't keen to leave it on overnight. Breakfast is good. I had another booking for February but I've cancelled and I'm going to give the Radisson nearby a try, it's a good bit cheaper.

Concert stopover
It’s a lovely hotel. Check in was a bit of an issue. We arrived after check in time had to queue for reception and the room wasn’t ready we were given a bar voucher but after having a drink in the bar the queue for reception was huge and I had to stand in it again for 15 minutes. Not a great start to the stay. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Ideal location for Hydro
