"Stayed two nights here after having spent two nights at a different hotel in Copacabana. The difference in both neighbourhood and accommodation were immediate. The staff were very welcoming and offered a welcome drink which I had on the rooftop before my room was ready. Great views from the roof and my room as well (could see Cristo Redentor). Had dinner and breakfast from the adjoining restaurant which were both very good. "

"Fantastic hotel and location. I recommend the hotel Arpoador to everyone going to Rio. I loved it so much I left another hotel and came back for my last night in Rio. It’s worth every penny, oceanfront and town views. "

"Basic rooms, but clean and for the most part comfortable. My only complaint was that there was no apparent way to turn off the air conditioner so the room was too cold for my liking. The staff was friendly and helpful, and some of them spoke English. The hotel is in an excellent location, situated just a few minutes walk from either Ipanema Beach or Copacabana Beach. Surrounded by plenty of nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shopping. The breakfast was stellar! Literally everything you could think of and all fresh. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something affordable, and you can’t beat the location! "

"Amazing stay. Would never stay anywhere else while in Rio. Easy walk to the beaches, but the star is the staff. Incredibly service oriented. Completely a 10 perfect "
