"We were first put in a room and the air conditioning compressor went out. We asked the front desk twice to fix, never did. Room stayed 75 degrees until finally we ran into the maintenance guy (I believe his name was Ron). He stopped what he was doing checked out the air conditioning, then agreed the compressor was bad and moved us rooms all while our family enjoyed time at the pool. Told us not to hurry, and brought us our room key. This guy needs a raise. We stay in a lot of hotels and never had we had service like this. He did more than the front desk even cared to do. Bring your own pillows, they aren’t comfortable. "

"Hotel was very close to the Mall of America, they have a shuttle so i didnt had to take my car to the mall. There are many places to eat.The breakfast is very good at this hotel, room is nice."

"I usually stay at the Embassy when downtown Minn but also like to try others in the area. The Hampton is so well priced its hard to beat. Staff were very nice and check in/ out was a breeze. Breakfast was decent and coffee tastes great. Room was spacious and clean. The parking in the provided lot was close and only $12. Amazing. Will definitely come back. "
