« Packing up kid after four years of college. Stayed in Ashland many times the past years, first time anything was available here. Beautiful setup inches from Lake Superior. Great view, close to eats, good coffee in room, artesian well steps away. Best, coldest water you’ll ever taste! »

« Beautiful remote location to get away. 30 minutes from the lake and 1-2 hours from Copper Falls and Bayfield parks. Cozy cabin with lots of wildlife around (Black bears, Deer, skunks etc.) AC and heat work great outdoors were beautiful, but make sure to bring mosquito spray as it is woods by water. Will come back again in the future! »

« We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a great landing spot within quick driving distance of so many hiking trails, beaches, and waterfalls that we couldn’t find time to see them all! Also a quick drive to town where you can find anything you might need. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. The yard was a nice place to relax around the fire at night and watch the stars. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely return. »

« This was the second time we stayed, the first being in 2019. Both times the kitchen was well stocked with anything you would ever need. The entire house was neat, clean, and organized. A wonderful place to stay with family or friends and visit the surrounding area and all it has to offer. With so much to see and do in the area it’s easy to be on the go, but plan to stay an extra day or two to just enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the estate. »

« This home was wonderful! My family of 6 had more than enough room here and everyone had their own space. There was plenty of towels for us to use. The beds were comfy, we all slept great. We ate dinner one night at Patsy's. Definitely recommend eating there, it was delicious, and we could walk there from the house! The grocery store is also within walking distance. The location was perfect! We spent half our time in Ashland, the other half in Bayfield! Washburn is about halfway between the two....
