"Disappointing. Needs a major upgrade"

"The staff was friendly and did try to help initially—they moved us from our first room, which was dirty, into a king suite. Unfortunately, the second room still had roaches. We only stayed because it was after 12:40 AM and there were no reasonable alternatives at that hour. While I appreciate that the staff was kind and attempted to accommodate us, the overall experience did not meet basic cleanliness standards. The hotel later stated that we were satisfied with the second room, which is not accurate we were just appreciative of their kindness of moving us initially. "

"Side view of beach. Room was super clean. Pay your own parking. Good walking access to food and some entertainment. Beach appeared rather dirty in this area. "

"The bathroom had wallpaper coming off, the mirrors were streaking, the room with the ice machine was littered with dirty linens- even under the machine, the elevator doors were so dirty, the pool was like ice cubes. The Lobby was beautiful and the staff were friendly. It just felt like once you leave the lobby it’s a completely different hotel- more like a motel where you pay by the hour. "
