Friendly helpful staff in beautiful surroundings. Have stayed here numerous times- always fantastic! Great location, restaurants, service, and spa. Sadly the skiing is so good that it is terrible not to spend all day at the hotel.

Excellent hotel, beautiful view and rooms
Das Central is a great hotel. Excellent staff and beautiful rooms. Ours had an incredible Alpine view and balcony overlooking the river. We chose this hotel for the sauna and pool features and were a bit disappointed with those as we were not aware that bathing suits would not be allowed on an entire level of the spa area. The spa attendant didn't speak English well and as we didn't speak German at all, it was a bit confusing but not a huge issue. Overall, the hotel is gorgeous and the food is great. I highly recommend the Fondue experience that you can add to your stay as this was incredible. One other note is that they don't offer room service. Food is not available after 11 pm at this hotel (at least that was the case when I was visiting). So if you need a late night snack, grab an extra pretzel at the wonderful breakfast buffet to keep in your room. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area who wants to splurge a bit. Just make sure to take advantage of the excellent food service at the published times :)

A hotel worth visiting
A nice hotel trying to help you with your skiing experience. Overall everybody was very helpful, maybe they just need this extra push to make the service be a real 5-star one. The food was very good.

Wonderful hotel in Austrian ski village
We stayed for 7 days at Das Central. It was a lovely experience. We had half-board which includes breakfast and supper. The food was amazing! The breakfast buffet was extensive and each night there was a 5 course gourmet meal. They also have an extensive wine list. Service was wonderful throughout our stay. There was a shuttle to the ski lift which was very convenient and we never had to wait. There was a beautiful water/relaxation area with saunas/steam rooms/pool/whirlpool and a large spa/wellness facility. There is also a very convenient ski locker assigned to each room.

An outstanding luxury hotel in Solden
I do not normally write reviews of hotels we stay, but I have made an exception in this case because our experience was so outstanding. This is the BEST hotel we have ever stayed in, and my wife and I have travelled worldwide since retiring 12 years ago. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who helped with our various queries (all in English). I booked late and so we had to have a junior suite so that was a treat, but I'm sure all the other rooms are of a very high standard- the maid showed us a one or two when the rooms were briefly between guests. Beside the room there were 2 things that made it outstanding. One was the restaurant which served up a breakfast of almost everything you can think of, and for dinner every night we had a 5 course dinner of gourmet standard food. Our wine waiter, Tyrone, was extremely helpful in choosing Austrian wines from the vast vine list. Although we had several excellent waiters over the 10 days we were there we would mention Charlotte for going the extra mile. The second outstanding feature was the Wellness area with a fantastic pool,gym, and various Saunas. Karl is the hotel employee looking after the pool and Saunas and he does a little show in the largest Sauna at 5pm and 6pm each day! Other facilities near the hotel mean that there are plenty of things you can do outside the ski season. We will be back in the future to enjoy more of what Solden and Das Central has to offer.

Toller Kurzaufenthalt trotz Corona-Einschränkungen
Waren für zwei Nächte im Central. Zimmer sehr schön. Wir hatten Twin-Betten bestellt, alles korrekt vorbereitet. Die Bettenbreite war etwas gar knapp bemessen und für meinen Geschmack etwas zu weich. Aber das ist höchst Individuell zu betrachten. Wellnessbereich sehr gross und gepflegt. Zusatzdienstleistungen wie Massagen und Kosmetik werden angeboten und auch hervorragend umgesetzt. Corona-Massnahmen wurden angenehm dezent umgesetzt. Insgesamt ein schöner Kurzaufenthalt in Sölden

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist unglaublich. Der Service ist auf allerhöchstem Niveau und die Küche ist ein Traum. Happiger Betrag von 676€ die Nacht war jeden Cent Wert. Nur hab ich beim Auschecken keine hausgemachte Marmelade bekommen wie die Herren vor mir :(

Hotel ist im Grundsatz okay, jedoch passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Bei einem Fünf-Sterne-Hotel erwarte ich u. a., dass ich beim Essen bedient und nicht verwaltet werde - sogar den Wein, welchen wir wiederholt erst nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung zur Darreichung der Weinkarte erhielten - mussten wir selbst einschenken. Ich war mit unserem 7-jährigen Sohn dort, was rückblickend keinen Sinn macht - waren um kurz nach 17 Uhr nach dem Skifahren im Spa und wurden dort sofort rausgeschmissen - Kinder sind dort nur bis 17 Uhr zugelassen ... Das Publikum ist sehr international - in weiten Teilen aus Osteuropa kommend. Fazit: Sicherlich kein schlechtes Hotel, jedoch nicht zu empfehlen, wenn man mit Kindern reist, welche nicht nur durch die Nany betreut werden und zudem serviceseitig kulinarisch weit von fünf Sternen entfernt ...

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Wir genossen es in vollen Zügen. Einzig im Zimmer war es ein wenig hell, da die Fenster nicht über Läden verfügten. Konnte dann aber mit einer Maske meinen Schlaf trotzdem geniessen. Essen war super, reichhaltiges Morgen Buffet.

Täydellinen valinta Söldenin sydämestä
Ehdottomasti yksi parhaista hotelleista, jossa olen koskaan yöpynyt. Tiesin odottaa vahvaa viiden tähden tasoa, mutta odotukset peräti ylitettiin. Aamiaisella kokki omelettipannun takana, huippuystävällinen asiakaspalvelu, todella näyttävät näkymät huoneesta vuorille, 10 saunan kera maustettu kylpyläosasto. Erikoisuutena mainittakoon hotellin oma kuljetuspalvelu Söldenin alahissiasemille milloin tahansa. Hyppäät kyytiin, kerrot kummalle hissille haluat ja olet kohta perillä. Paluu noudattaa halutessasi samaa kaavaa. Tämä oli todella loistava lisäpalvelu, joka ei maksanut penniäkään ylimääräistä. Meitä oli neljän hengen lumilautaporukka matkassa, yövyimme perhesviitissä ja kaikki oli suoraan sanottuna täydellistä. Hotellista oikein huokui tietynlainen kunnianhimo olla alueensa paras. Suosittelen tätä todella vahvasti heille, jotka arvostavat korkeaa laatua sekä rinteen että hotellin saralla.

Wir waren zum Skifahren in Sölden und sind zum ersten Mal in diesem Hotel gewesen und es wird sicher nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Wir wurden von einem immer sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal empfangen, auch dass wir einen Hund dabei hatten hat für mehr Freude als Ablehnung gesorgt. Das Essen war hevorragend, die Zimmer großzügig geschnitten und der Service immer sehr besorgt.

På ankomst kan alt lade sig gøre!!! Ikke afrejse!!
På ankomst informerede vi at den ene person desværre var blevet syg. Vi havde bestilt værelse til 3 personer. Damen i receptionen sagde hun lige ville undersøge mulighederne for et mindre værelse til mindre penge. Hun kom retur cirka 10 minutter efter og sagde at vi ville blot få det booket værelse og prisen justeret ned, det var overhovedet ingen problem. Da vi skulle checke ud, blev vi mødt med en helt anden attitude. Vi skulle betale fuld pris, og der havde aldrig været snak om andet - for vi havde jo valgt at booke via hotels.com, havde vi booket direkte så var det intet problem. Men nu hvor vi havde valgt hotels.com var der absolut ingenting at gøre. Ikke særlig sødt at stå og love noget på ankomst og ved afrejse nægte det hele. Vi havde et godt ophold, men denne slutbehandling gør vi helt sikkert ikke sætter vores ben der igen.

For et 5-stjernet hotel kan man forvente sig lidt ud over det sædvanlige, det blev bestemt også opfyldt. Især spa-faciliteterne og hotellets personlige skibus service er at fremhæve. Men det specielle ved dette hotel var den varme, venlige og humoristiske service ved receptionen. Ægte Østrigsk charme uden snobberi. Det mindre positive var den 5-retters menu i restauranten. Maden var ikke dårlig, men heller ikke noget at fremhæve.

Sehr schönes Hotel, super freundliches Personal, der Spabereich ist schön eingerichtet, dennoch mangelt es dort an Fachkenntnisen! Das Angebot ist riesig, aber es werden leider nicht alle angebotene Behandlungen durchgeführt, weil das Personal fehlt! Da kann man etwas vo asiatischen Hotels lernen!
