Our place did not have a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and the a/c was only upstairs. I cooked 2-3x a day on our trip so I was really missing those items! But we still had a wonderful time. My husband and labrador stayed here for several days in a row and it was the perfect home base for all the hiking activities we had planned in the area. Randy was very helpful and knowledgeable about pointing us in the right direction to visit waterfalls, which we thoroughly enjoyed learning about and hiking to. We also drove out to Crater Lake to explore it as well, and the drive between the cabin and Crater Lake was gorgeous! Each night that we returned to the cabin from the day's adventure was such a treat. We really enjoyed being right on the river, exploring the rock formations, and we saw two bald eagles on two separate days fly right over us (one in the morning and one in the evening). We'll definitely be back for another visit because even with several days there, we still have more in the area that we want to explore :-) ##### Laura K. Our family of 4 was very comfortable & the house was clean and had everything you need including soft bathrobes. The view is simply amazing and the location is perfect for exploring waterfalls and beauty in the Umpqua National Forest. We love the deck overlooking the river, which had a BBQ so we would make our dinner and eat out on the deck, lay in the sun, and just take in the beauty of the river and the trees. The swimming hole is directly below the house and is so beautiful. Randy was great. Very nice and hospitable. The cabin was clean, and he was very pleasant to talk to. You can tell he takes a great amount of pride in his vacation homes We will definitely be going back. ##### Tim W.
