Consideration of an event being held on a Saturday evening was communicated to us so we were put on the higher level floor (2) so we didn't get disturbedby the noise. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy, ironing board and hairdryer were supplied in the room along with coffee and tea making facilities. All the staff were very helpful and polite. Very reasonable room rates for an extremely comfy and clean hotel. »

« We used this a base for the beachyhead marathon. Was perfect for our needs. No lift though so expect to be tackling multiple flights of stairs through the labyrinthine property. It was very reasonably priced for location. Though that does translate to the amenities, but if you are looking for a short stay budget option with a bar open 24 hours for guests and 24 acess to pizza, its a great shout and will save you a few quid. Its about 5 or 10 minutes from some excellent local pubs....
