"The location is steps from the Golden 1 center , great for events or graduations. Also location is near downtown yet didn’t have time to explore. Rooms are clean yet dated. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Sac."

"The staff (bellhop) was incredibly rude to my husband on our way out in the morning. My husband went to get a luggage cart and the bellhop rudely snapped at my husband saying he couldn’t use it and that “this isn’t a Motel 6”. Also I feel like I over paid for what we had in our room. The “down” comforters had zero done sewn inside them and it felt like we just had thin sheets as covers instead of having a nice thick comforter. Also, Motel 6 has thicker comforters on their beds!"

"Friendly staff informed us of free golf cart rides almost to the A’s ballpark-just had to walk across the River bridge to the field! Wonderful views of the state capitol on the ride! Rooftop pool & bar were beautiful; drink & food specials, delicious, and the music, GREAT! Restaurants and shops in DOCO area were right out the back door! Good coffee in the lobby while waiting for our car was enjoyable!"

"Everything was wonderful everybody was wonderful it is a beautiful property and a historic masterpiece. Fifth Star was I stayed on the riverside and the walruses across the river can be a little much. I would stay there again but I would give the city side a try just so I could get a little better night's sleep talking about sleep the beds were Rockstar."

"This was the worst stay I’ve had here. There was a baby spider infestation in my room they were crawling all over the bed for hours. I asked them to help me clean it they said they didn’t have anyone available to clean it and there was no rooms to switch. I then asked for a vacuum to do it myself at least and they didn’t provide one. I asked for a broom. The broom was dirty and gross. I tried to clean it as best as possible but the spiders didn’t go away. The next morning I asked them to do a cleaning and they said my service day isn’t that day. I told them about the spiders and they promised they’d clean the room, I came back hours later. They never cleaned the room and I had to leave early the next morning. Do not stay here. Service is horrible. I gave them so many chances, I decided I am no longer going to stay here."
