The room was clean and comfortable with all that we needed. The breakfast had a good variety and was kept filled at all times.

Great location and view. Kitchen was equipped with all necessary utensils including washer and dryer.

The hotel is charming, and the room clean and spacious. The included breakfast was also great. However, coming here during the last week of November, we found the entry stairs to be completely covered over with ice (super dangerous), and I mean THICK ice. I was scared climbing them even with my great hiking boots. And the roads on the way in were snowy. To check in, we had to use a physical phone at reception to call an operator and get the key code to our room. That was easy enough. Check-out was easy too (you just leave by the deadline). If I had to do it over again, I'd stay here during warmer months but in winter months I'd stay in the city itself. The roads/ conditions were too precarious.

Big room very good experience

The Ava apartments are ideally located for walking exploration around Reykjavik. We had a short challenge getting the access code to work and arrived before the cleaner was finished but it wasn’t a long wait. The street noise can be heard but just being in Reykjavik was such a treat.
