"Although the exterior is run down and the interior dated, the bed was comfortable, fridge worked great, and the bathroom had shampoo, bath soap, and hand soap. I had dinner at the attached restaurant and it was basic but well done."

Beautiful beach area. Friendly staff. We were unable to use restaurant (water repair), and no other restaurants were open in area (They close by 7pm). We had to make do with Tim Hortons across the road which also has no soups or chili after 6pm. Still the rooms were great.

For a quick night’s stay along the way that doesn’t break the bank, this place is great! It is nothing fancy, but it is very clean, comfortable bed, mini fridge and microwave, wifi, and lots of tv options. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and there is a restaurant on site that offers home delicious cooked meals all day.

Couldn't ask for more. We've stayed at about a dozen different cottages in northern Ontario and Lakeside Cottages in Bruce Mines is the best. The beds are comfy, the price is reasonable, the cottage comes fully stocked (no upcharge for bedsheets like some places!!!), the kitchen is full and also stocked (salt and pepper and oil and coffee!!!), the cottages are clean and pretty, the view is amazing, the firewood is onsite and included (not $20 for a tiny bundle like some places...), reasonable...

We really enjoyed our one-night stay at Auberge Eldo Inn! The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and having coffee and bottled water was a nice bonus. We also loved the little USB charger beside the bed, such a thoughtful and convenient touch! Everything was clean and well maintained, including the outdoor entrance. The staff were so friendly and even walked us to our room. We felt very welcome and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
