great location
we enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving at the house. Easy walk to Nickel Plate Beach. Given the size of the house, and the fact that 10 people can stay there, it would have been great to have a larger coffee pot! Otherwise, would stay again if we end up in Huron again.

Clean and comfortable
The house is a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk from a grocery/dairy queen/restaurants. There is a nice size yard for kids and dogs to walk around. The only warning I have for families is that the beds are very high. They provide stairs to get into the beds but we took extra pillows and tried to pad the sides of the beds so no one fell out. Otherwise no problems or concerns. Very clean and lots of towels and blankets provided.

Great place!
My family and my brother’s family stayed here for a Cedar Point vacation. The house was perfect for us. It had all we needed for our stay. The owner’s father, Jim, lives nearby, and was extremely helpful and friendly. There is a drugstore and grocery store practically within walking distance. You can also walk Nickel Beach, which is a lovely beach area. We took walks around the quiet neighborhood almost every night. We would absolutely stay here again!

My family of 8 was traveling from out of state to Ohio for a family funeral and we looked at this property. The owner was very supportive of my last minute needs as they were always changing on how many were able to join us, etc. We were all very comfortable and thankful we could be together during a said time. We'd like to come back at a happier time to enjoy the area and the beautiful home more.

Perfect for our long family weekend
Homey, clean, plenty of room for our family getaway with our adult children and their significant others with the added benefit of pet friendly. Quiet residential area close enough to the various activities available for a Lake Erie trip. We walked the dogs to the beach every morning and enjoyed the early morning sun rising over the lake. Porch was great for outdoor time but covered from any weather. We had three vehicles and had no issues with parking them. Would recommend to others as well as staying there again.

Wonderful Family Beach Vacation
Overseers of the property were super-friendly and accommodating. Wonderful time with our two daughters and our three grandsons. We loved the neighborhood where our grandsons could ride their bikes. We enjoyed the beach and the lake, and the proximity to Put-In-Bay and Kelly’s Island. We appreciated the opportunity to bring our two non-shedding dogs. I assigned 4 stars to “cleanliness” because of the presence of cat or dog hair at move-in. This was not the owners’ or the cleaners’ fault. They did not realize that the internal belt on the brush on the vacuum cleaner was broken. Everyone would like to go back!

Perfect location, perfect house
Nestled in a quiet and safe neighborhood, walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and the beach, this place is just what we were looking for. The house is extremely spacious with plenty of room for the whole family. A quiet and quaint cabin feel. You won’t be disappointed, we sure weren’t!
