"Overall it was a nice cabin, just not what we were expecting from photos. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The photo on the site isn’t at all what the grounds around it look like. The creek is pretty dried up with green algae. There was no lighter to light the fire and we had to go looking for firewood around the grounds. Water pressure in the shower was very weak, hard to even get soap out of your hair. Wasp nest by cabin door, and can of wasp spray was empty. We did love the mini horses and enjoyed feeding them daily. Also there is no tv, not that we were inside much but at night it would have been nice just to unwind. "

"The hotel had a moldy water smell upon entering. There was no notice on the website that the pool area was closed. Housekeeping tried entering around 8:15 AM while we were still asleep, which was a rude awakening with someone just walking in. As for the room, the bed was comfortable with extra pillows and a Keurig machine. The bathroom was a good size and super clean. I can't say the same for the rest of the hotel. The bar area was sticky, and the hallway on floor 3 was super dirty, full of what looked like confetti. The ice machine was broken, but the staff was super friendly and gave great places to check out in the area. "

"Yes, I've posted several reviews saying the same things. That's because they're true. My family and I have been lucky enough to stay here through several reservations, many times back-to-back. Things don't change, though - we had other options that we could have taken advantage of, but we keep coming back to this property. Even though the property is older, it is kept in good shape and is suitable for travelers, workers, and families alike. The staff is friendly and makes sure that we have all that we need. The price is right for what you get."
