"It would be helpful to let travellers know that late checkins are handled by the neighbouring hotel. We raced unnecessarily from the airport to checkin because we had read the frontdesk closes at midnight. We tried to call ahead upon arriving in Iceland but got no answer."
"Great hotel! Nice sauna and hot tub, well-designed facility, great breakfast. Convenient location for exploring south Iceland and its natural wonders."
"Great spot to see the Golden Circle from, without driving all the way from Reykjavik with all the tour buses. Newly renovated, comfortable beds, nice showers, cool little hot tubs in the middle of the property, and beautiful bar/restaurant area. Kind of sad they didn’t let us know about happy hour when we checked in, but they DID honor the Expedia VIP perk for a free drink.
Somewhat of a side note: if you get hot easily, on a sunny summer day, one side of the hotel (where the rooms face the sun all day with their floor-to-ceiling windows) gets REALLY hot. Like a greenhouse. Needless to say, they don’t have AC or fans in Iceland. I had a hard time falling asleep until it got way late and we aired out the room via the mini window. "

"Little far out from the town, but if you bring your food or drive into the town (20 minutes) it is easy to get food.
The hot tub was nice and the space was clean "

"Wonderful facilities including the hot tubs and restaurant! The room was very comfortable for 3 and the bathtub was luxurious. Only ding was we arrived a little after 11pm and there was NO ONE around. I had to message the hotel on Facebook to get someone to check us in. "
