Peaceful mountain retreat

A 15 minute beautiful drive from Salida into Big Horn Canyon leads to peaceful retreat in the mountains in Howard. This is a semi-private entrance to a master bedroom & bath suite. Covered porch on front of house with couch for relaxing. As well as slider doors out to private outdoor area off bedroom. Refrigerator, microwave, and Kuerig coffee maker in suite, with pods provided. Keyless entry with keypads on doors for privacy & security. Sliding glass door in bedroom leads out to a private level of property with nature abounding. There are 2 long hair cats in the home and this rental is NOT APPROPRIATE FOR PEOPLE WITH CAT ALLERGIES. The cats are friendly and may approach you wanting petted, but they will likely stay clear. There is no cell phone reception at the house & you need to connect to house Wi-Fi and enable Wi-Fi calling on your phone to call out. Frequently turkey & deer roam the property. Infrequently bear and mountain lions are seen near or on the property. Please turn on the back porch light before you go out at night. There are motion detector lights on the back of house by slider glass doors leading out of bedroom. The fishermen seem to love it here near the Arkansas River. Brand new mattress and linens in 2022 will have you waking up refreshed.
