Studio (STX) Size 305 sqft Accommodates: 2 This cozy studio features a bedroom with king-size bed, bathroom with a small standard shower/tub combination, cable TV, PlayStation 3, as well as a convenient kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, sink, dishes and utensils. No balcony. Fees Upon Checkin- PLEASE NOTE: The state of Hawaii assesses a lodging tax to guests staying at this resort. A deposit of $250 for incidentals is required at check-in. 24-hour valet parking service is available in the main lobby of Hilton Hawaiian Village for all Towers, including Hilton Grand Vacations, for $75 plus tax per day (only available at the hotel's main desk). Oversized vehicles will be charged $110 plus tax per day and parking is limited based on availability. Self-parking is available for $65 plus tax per day. Fees are subject to change. The room was exactly as expected. Clean and nicely decorated. However, we were not told that the maid staff and bartenders, waiters were on strike for the last 40 days. No service out by the pool. Most bars closed. No Luau. No maid service. The staff did the best they could by placing racks of towels, toilet paper in the hall but they marched around the outside of the property from 7 am to 10 pm with bull horns yelling at the top of their lungs. Not very relaxing. Found we had to leave the property to get away from the noise. Strike is settled so everything should get back to normal but unfortunately our 50th anniversary trip is over. Very frustrating. Would I stay here again. I don’t know. I contacted the property manager and he was not helpful. Said there was nothing they could do. Shame on you property manager ##### Louis M. However, the room was lovely and despite the fact that a major strike was disrupting services at the hotel, the Hilton did their best to keep things as normal as possible. The post on VRBO said that you may not get the type of room pictured, but the room was nothing like the photos I tired and it was misleading. Had we been staying for our entire Hawaiian vacation I would have been very disappointed. There is plenty of shops and food options in the Hilton property and close by.
