The resort was quiet, peaceful and safe. Checking in and out or even asking questions was a bit confusing as there was never anyone in the store/front desk to assist even tho it says open from noon-8, you're just instructed to go to the bar which doesn't open until 11:30am. The hotel is a historic building and as such does not have an elevator; however, it does have a beautiful wide staircase. I found all of the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful.
