"Although it was rained 2 of the 3 days we were there, this was still a great stay for my son and I ! We also brought our dogs and we had plenty of space for them as well. The owner stopped by to put a hot tub in, so that's an added bonus for anyone staying after us. The owner was great to visit with, and the property manager was quick to reply when we messaged him. "This place offered the perfect getaway from the city, and I loved having the kayaks available for use! The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything I needed to cook. The outdoor area down by the river was peaceful despite the nearby highway, and when the water level is low earlier in the day you can walk the kayaks down to the water. Note that the current gets much stronger in late afternoon and water level rises, so don’t get stuck paddling home upstream. Learned that the hard way!"
