![Tried a new spot in Southern Pines,NC. The Java Bean Plantation is in a little house where they roast their own coffees. The latte was well made and tasty. Very nice staff and good selection of coffees. « The condo space is fine, good proximity to Pinehurst Resort and the host was very responsive. The problem was a very strong smell of old smoke. It gave me an immediate headache when I arrived and I had to air the room out. The host offered to send a cleaning crew when I arrived, but I didn't think it would help.After I returned from dinner, the area needed to be aired out for about an hour before I felt comfortable enough to sleep. « Great place local to a family event. Loved having the kitchen and 2 baths! Was a bit hard to figure out where the unit was, but it was dark when we got there. Directions mentioned a peach door...the doors were white. Overall nicer for us than a hotel...wish we had time to enjoy the deck! »
